The Steven Universe Thread! [SPOILERS]

-Well, recently i started watch steven universe more avidly, then i found this thread and noticed how vast and deep is the history. Still not watched the most episodes but i wanna know more about this show being trivia,canon or noncanon etc.

-Someone said early that the show have Junji Ito references? Can show us(me)?

-And you guys was discussing about Pearl be Gay/Bi. Can someone tell the name(s) of the episode(s) that gives base to this discussion? Anyway, more one sticking around now...
 
sigh.... okay. that was pretty cleaver. Wait who is writing the episode again? cause i get the feeling it wasn't one of the people behind UG who wrote that scene.

1.) No fucking clue what trivia, canon or noncanon means in this context.
2.) If you haven't gotten to the junji ito reference then showing it would actually be major spoilers, but you'll know it when you see it because it's pretty dang obvious.
3.) Rose's scabbard is the episode name.

Now leave this thread and don't come back until you've watched all the episodes because you're not ready to know about garnet's secret animal friends.

Yeah, I don't do mobile games at all, but I will definitely do so for Steven Universe. I hope they get so big that they can make a game for the 3DS or something. I know they'd do it right, complete with homages and subtle references from classic games. <3
 
LOL The uncomfortable laughter! Omg. Yeah, this is gold. (And for the record, "Duck Lips" is the funniest UG episode ever and probably the most sensible)
 
So with the Uncle Grandpa crossover episode coming really really soon, what is everyone's hopes and worries about the episode?

I believe the episode is that UG helps Steven unlock his gem's hidden potential or new ability.

Crazy that an episode of Steven Universe with Uncle Grandpa in it is shaping up to be the best Uncle Grandpa-related episode, without actually being an episode of Uncle Grandpa.

Matt Burnett is the least reliable source of all time, his whole twitter is sarcastic steven universe spoilers. If we take everything he says as canon then the uncle grandpa crossover replaced the episode in which garnet and pearl fused,
garnet and pearl will never fuse because they polled SU fans and found that nobody likes fusions, and this show is exclusively meant to be watched by non-cis females and anyone else watching is absolutely not welcome (best part is the brony he told this to thought this was entirely serious.)

Some of the 4th wall breaking humor was funny, but some characters didn't really act in a proper way. I mean that it was embarrassing to watch some of it. Gemsona caught me offguard.

Wait, who was out of character? Yeah the reactions were extreme but the actions were extreme so it was just a case of newton's 3rd law.

I didn't mean that they were out of character, just that some of their reactions were too comedic for my tastes in some scenes. It's just that the humor isn't what I'm used to.
 
This episode had me ROLLING.
They literally just took the characters and exaggerated them as much as possible. Mostly Pearl. It's.... Beautiful.. *Single tear*
