Ehhh, why everybody just accpeted thats a brazilian girl. Look to me that she wearing a suit like "las vegas casino girls". im brazilian and i can confirm that girl can pass freely through a booty police blitz (too weak).

It is the brazil stage, it makes sense that is a brazilian girl, about her body, is pretty much what i see here where i live, don't know about Rio and their fruit womans. =P

..huh...well that happened... So anyways, with Necalli having a V-trigger that gives him a new Critical Art, I think we can expect more of the same, heck I'm wondering if eventually that'll become a standard way to give the other fighters new Critical Arts.
 
Given that Necalli's shtick is his Trigger self having a different personality in addition to the new moves, I think he might be special in that regard.

I really doubt that's standard since his V-Trigger seems to change him into another person or entity.
 
I'm just saying it's probably not a standard. I mean, sure V-Triggers will probably buff CAs, but I don't see everyone getting an entire other CA out of it.
 
True, I forgot that a major part of his character is the dual personality represented in the V-trigger. As you guys said, maybe we might see buffs or alterations to a CA, but, maybe they'll just give a USF4/ Sf3 style "choose your CA" later in the game's life cycle.

I can't shake the talk from earlier in the thread how Necalli is similar to Gill.

Spin the dial on the hue/saturation and the quick edit is pretty much done. Maybe the crazy hair physics is just a coincidence?

Nash's forehead gem and story confirm Illuminati shenanigans, but don't think Gill will be making an appearance. Or at least I hope not. Gill's design is so plain and based entirely on a graphics gimmick (look folks, asymmetrical characters!). The red/blue sides is a notch below Seth's yin-yang belly in the bad ideas category.
 
Well, he could be a very powerful, lower-level Secret Society member/Illuminati, a former ousted member, or an experiment from the G-project. We know so little about them and they do have the fabled 66 (or so) secret Martial Arts techniques that allow Gill to resurrect, control the elements and for Urien to armour up and use the Ageis Reflector. Maybe this guy tried to utilize one of those and was absolutely consumed or "Devou-ourrrred" by it.
 
oh the ps4 version... mmmmh... Steam said that if you pre-order it that you would get the beta too. Guessing that would open up at a later date.

I'm not really seeing how losing it would be such a big deal for Necalli, speaking as someone who doesn't know shit

V-reversals and Crush counters in my opinion will be the depht of the game in general, so i think they are going to be explored more when the game actually comes out.

But yeah, Necalli is shaping up to be an offensive character with poor reversal options.

Depends on frame data. Even if others don;t have serious block string pressure, if his moves don't start fast enough, he's still screwed if he's in the corner.

We haven't really seen V-Reversals a lot, but no one knows how to play yet so it's hard to make that sort of call.

There was a move in his trailer that looked pretty DP like, but we have no idea about the actual frame data I guess, and it looked kind of slow, more of a combo extender/finisher. Even if it was a reversal V-Trigger could take away those properties.
 
does anyone know if Command Throws will work the same as they do in SF4? By that I mean:

Command Throw -> Throw Invul, strike vulnerable
EX Command Throw -> Throw vulnerable, Strike Invul

I think they could do something interesting with Gill. TBH I'm not expecting Urien to show up in the same way we've seen him before. As such, I could see them doing something different with Gill. Maybe he's changed, or they focus on his angelic powers like in that one BS super or make him fight in the robe he wears before transforming for battle? I dunno, I don't think he's totally out as a possible boss again, but he'd need a tune up.
 
From what little we know so far Gill could easily be a boss again, but I really doubt it. Though, it would be interesting if they brought him back and actually balanced him for play at some point.
 
just make one Mecha character is all I'm asking. And Yes I'm counting Q as a mecha cause... uh... he's weird and he does have a metal face? mask? idk... it's close enough.
