The Smash Bros Discussion Thread

Sakurai did mention that he wanted to experiment with the multiple console gameplay of the 3DS, the camera probably follows your character and your opponent's camera follows their character.

That's... actually kind of brilliant.

So can we expect some like Great Maze type level where finding the opponents is half the fun? That'd be cool.

That's what I meant, sorta like Mario Galaxy except on the X-Z plane instead of the X-Y plane.
 
That stage does sound like oodles of fun. Just give us the option to use Anistar City's theme. PLEEEEEAAAASEEEE!!!! Not like I've spent more than an hour just sitting there... listening...

Definitely an improvement over his Negative Zone from Brawl. I approve.
 
This is really bittersweet, I actually really liked Negative Zone as a Final Smash but on the other hand it's about time he got his Poltergust.
 
Fuck yeaaaaaaaaah. Everyone who doubts the power of the great vaccum can suck it, but not as well as the Poltergust. Bad side: I hope this doesn't deconfirm some recognition of Dreamy Luigi.
 
YEEEESSSS!! Good god finally getting rid of that shitty final smash and replacing it with something that clearly isn't shitty. I don't even care if it's GOOD, as long as it's not that broken as fuck negative zone.

1000/10, would use repeatedly and love it. While there was no character reveal for this month, we got a whole lotta other stuff that more than makes up for another character imo.
 
Luigi's new Final Smash sucks.

I think this is my favorite part of the reveal. Like Sakurai just knows.
