Hey today is the last day of season 2. RyChus may be doing some commentary at www.twitch.tv/RyChus Top 8 will be coming up next week-ish. We will decide soon as we can after tonight.
 
Hey Duders! Season 2 has come to a close. Our top 8 is as follows:

1st: Duckator
2nd: Uzu
3rd: White Fury
4th: BrandX
5th: Red Savarin
6th: Midiman and Elda Taluda tied
7th: MPGame

Top 8 will be played out as Double Elimination on Saturday Nov 23 at 7pm Eastern. Prize will come from the money I protected by getting 3rd WHICH I WILL PROTECT AGAIN BY DEFEATING THE DUCK! (Someone beat the duck at least!!) Prizes next season will be determined entirely by the Top 8 tourney at the end of the season.

Stream is expecfted to be at www.twitch.tv/RyChus with RyChus as a new commentator and some returning co-commentators.

Season 3 to be announced. There's few real tournaments coming up. One of which I'll be attending. So if we do it right away we'll have to figure something out. Stay tuned and hope to see you at the stream on Saturday.

Currently running intermission season. Basically this is casuals with a tournament format. There are multiple real life tournaments happening soon. Season 3 starts Jan 25th? Maybe sooner we'll see. Keep dropping by chat on saturdays.

Put this in the op. Jan 25th is the week after apex. Maybe sooner will depend who all goes to that. Not sure if i'm going yet. It's pretty far T.T

I keep forgetting to remind you. Were sticking with every Saturday at 7pm est for now so you can reset for this week and il try to remember next :)

Playing King of Fighters XIII made me really want to get back into this game. I think I'll try and join the next matchup.
 
Hey everybody realbats next weekend. Same bat time. This means prizes back on and lagsalt will flow. Prizes staying based on season rank. At least over the course of the season your place should be a little bit more consistent even with lag.

So no one reads this anymore I think (and I don't post sorry) but season 3 has ended. Nothing this week because of Doublesnap Open. Next week will be the top 8. We might need to do a tiebreaker between sav and taluda? Or we could just let top 8 placing decide if that's ok with them we'll see. Not sure if season 4 will be right away yet so stay tuned. Will at least have casual bats The week after top 8.

So I'd like to move this back to Sunday. If that doesn't work for enough people someone else could always take over. This weeks will be Saturday and casuals again so hopefully I can catch some more people and give them a heads up.

OP updated we are Sundays and Beta and 3/5 bats now. Sorry for all those that we lose from the day change. I encourage everyone to gather in skullbats chat anytime to organize lobbies and you can use it if you'd like to run a bracket on saturdays.
 
Oh forgot to mention in here doing one more week of casual brackets so to give everyone a last chance to adjust. So casualbats on 3-23

Heads up everyone we're moving this week back an hour to 8pm EST. POSindustries is going to be streaming matches. Apparently this might be an 86d thing if it goes well so you might get prizes from them instead of my money that no one wants.
 
If we're talking about stream things, I've been streaming my matches for the past few weeks now. I also usually run a post-Bats session afterwards so if anyone wants to hang out afterwards y'all can come by~
 
OP updated with current standings. Finally got them up to date. Season 4 almost done erbody! POSindustries and Elkydori put on an awesome show! I think we'll be doing it again next week so let's just stick with 8pm eastern for now. We'll see if we want to change it up next season.

We got casualbats the next 2 weeks then I got a local tourney. Season 5 probably starting 6-22 with a break in the middle for Evo. Also heads up: no more prizes. It hasn't really seemed to effect attendance. Hopefully getting better and the hype at the end of the season is enough to keep everyone hungry. Cya'll sunday
