Skullgirls Original / Fan Character Thread

Well then you should edit your post so there's link to the artist, it's only fair.
 
Still working on AU versions of my characters if they were in Skullgirls, quite hard, really.
More rewarding when you make an Alternate Universe version of your character work in a place that has rules to follow!
 
@Shockdingo I can see Barbastelle likes to call people out.
I can see him and Cerebella having a really long talk...

Also would you be insulted if I were to say he reminds me of Beast?

Insulted? Not at all my good man. It's funny, when this was a sketch he had glasses, but I' was so tired with the "inking process" in illustrator that I left them out. Ol' Hank was totally an inspiration for his looks. I wanted him to look a bit more human than making him outrageously bat.

Good eye on the calling people out thing heh. One part stems from the drinking, one part the old arrogance creeping back into his personality.

Damn she's fine, and she has a really cool design. I can see some similarity between Minaria and Siva, mainly in their right arms. I'm guessing they're Androids or Cyborgs or maybe they're just Prosthetics, am I right? Whatever, I would love to read that story you're writing, you be sure to let me know when you're done. If it's a whole book I'll definitely buy it.

They are Androids correct.

Also thank you, I've been working on different personal projects, and the story for Minaria and Siva are one of them.

I want to turn them into video games one day. That's my dream.

Some fun facts about Minaria:
- Her stomach is a furnace, the furnace is connected to her arm that allows her to give her sun heat based fire attacks.
- Minaria is a bit Arrogant and mostly fights to please her upper powers. She can be naive and not know if she is doing something wrong.
- She fights in a more elegant style, but also uses brute force type attacks.
- Minaria was the first character I had ever created
- Minaria is the most popular of my characters.
- In the SkullGirls world, she would probably work under the canopy kingdom, under Parasoul.

It's kinda funny cause they look like they would've came from one of the labs in SG.

I noticed that her stomach seemed to be glowing, but I thought it was just a bright color, that's pretty cool.

I bet that it would make a pretty great game.

Thanks guys, glad to hear the positive praise. I'll probably write descriptions on them tomorrow when I'm not tired so you can get a better understanding of them :)

Yeah, well if you feel like it maybe you can make an off-topic thread for it. Seriously I'm really glad that this thread is getting more attention. Unlike a lot of people I really like OCs and FCs.

Also I plan on editing my Wiglaf Post so that it includes Likes/Dislikes and Character Inspirations.
 
Finally got the time to properly read everyone's concepts. Lots of great ideas all round.
Hopefully one day, everyone here can have their passion take them to higher, and preferably lucrative, heights.

I actually have had an idea like that for my setting.
Basically a super specific kind of necromancy but with spirits.
If you form a strong enough bond with a spirit of a close friend or family member, they sorta become your "Stand", as in a partner that's bonded to you symbiotically and can help you in a pinch

Well whatever it is it can always fit in Skullgirls with a little work.

We've been chatting a lot on this thread and it's kind of burying all of the actual Character Posts.
Maybe we should come up with a way to make them stick out so that people who want to read them can find them easier, like a banner of some sort.
