Ground Recovery and Response while KOd?

I was watching a stream, the match was Beo/Band vs Peacock/Parasoul. Beo used his Gigantic Arm and hit Peacock, but a stray George had knocked Beo out. Peacock got up and said her ground recovery line while Beo was KOd. Before Big Band came in, he said his response to an enemy recovering. I didn't know if this was a bug or even an issue, it just looked weird with Big Band speaking and no Big Band on screen.
