Necrosoft (no, not the Death Cargo guys) just announced their latest project: Magicops.
Early concept art.
The game is a "a mix of puzzle fighter, tetris battle gaiden, and lumines." and the art side is being led by Skullgirls' own @Kinuko , with music by C418 of Minecraft fame.
For any of you who were at EVO and went into the Indie Showcase section, Necrosoft are the guys who made Gunsport. That was the 4 player volleyball shooter game.
I was actually doing some art work on this game for a while too, but had to quit when it was clear I couldn't juggle this with my full time job, and the lead programmer is a good friend of mine so I can tell you it's shaping up to be pretty great! :D
