on October 12th we will be hosting the 12th iteration of newbie night on PC.

YOU HAVE TO CHECK IN before the tournament starts. there will be a shiny green button to check yourself 1 hour before the tournament starts.

the TL:DR version of it is

- you will be invited through the steam group, so make sure to join it: http://steamcommunity.com/groups/SkullgirlsNewbieNight
- when you do eventually get invited to your match, im going to try to message you and incite you through chat. for some reason though steam doesn't like me and another window will pop up for you to confirm that you actually do want to talk to me. ill probably friend you on steam to get around that, but either way you need to make sure you're seeing me messages. if you're not and you're concerned about missing your match you should probably post a message in hitbox chat, I check that a LOT more than steam chat.
- you have to be in steam group chat for the newbie night group when we start the tournament, i look over it and check in people who forgot to check in on challonge. its also the only way for me to find you and invite you to the lobby.
- matches are best of 3 and you are allowed to change characters between matches
- seriously, if you're crushing someone first round you are heavily encouraged to switch to an off-main.
- preferred hours of experience are between 3 and 50
- if you think you're too good feel free to talk to me on steam @doubledark and sign up with a new character you're playing. i'll play a few rounds and determine if you're good to go.
