Oh sorry that was my jaw hitting my keyboard because this twist was fucking phenomenal.
 
Dressrosa is 102 episodes and counting with Doffy still not beaten.

That's about 2 years if each episode was a week apart.

In comparison, my least favorite arc due to it's length, Sky Island, was 70 episodes. The only thing holding me back from hating Dressrosa is Gear 4th but it's starting to piss me off.

No but seriously, I've never really been interested in reading the manga, for some reason it never drew me in like Jojo did; same thing happened with Hajime no Ippo, the only reason I really have for not wanting to is because I feel the animations show things more clearly than the mangos

I only did it for Jojo because I don't want to wait years for each new part
 
i am not lying when I say that the manga manages to have better animation than the show
it's on model at the least
 
The anime has some Legitimately hype moments though.
When Luffy defeats Mr. 0 Crocodile it plays this amazingly cool classic music (From the New World) as he pelts the everloving shit out of him and its great.
I can't vouch for the anime's quality after Thriller Bark though, has it gotten better or worse?

Can't say anything on quality as I never pay attention to it, but New World 4th Movement was great

Crocodile is my favorite One Piece character and Storm is my favorite Luffy move; still waiting for a canon Jet Storm.

It takes a tremendous dip in quality at the timeskip, and seems to be getting worse and worse with each arc.
 
Yikes.
Alright, seems to me like you'll wanna read the manga and maybe watch some of the anime, but before the Time Skip.

nah we're at the onset of the setup of the MacGuffin Hunt that will lead to the beginning of the time period that may or may not be close to the beginning of the endgame of One Piece

  • Gild Tezoro (AKA Diamante's side-hustle), a casino king who controls the huge golden ship Gran Tezoro. He is a devil fruit user who ate the "Gol Gol fruit." He is an extremely rich man who is said to possess 20% of the monetary "Beli" that exist in the world.
  • Carina, a very popular songstress with a beautiful voice. She is surrounded in mystery.
  • Dice, a dealer on Gran Tezoro. He is a large-bodied man clad in muscles who offers his audience the highest level of game. He also has a special ability.
  • Baccarat, a devil fruit user who ate the "lucky lucky" fruit. When she touches someone, their luck changes. She is a mysterious and elegant woman who acts as an escort for the Straw Hat pirates. She is the concierge of the Gran Tezoro
  • Mr. Tanaka, a devil fruit user who ate the "nuke nuke" fruit ("nukenuke" means "to do something however one pleases," but "nuke" can also mean "to draw out"). With his secretive devil fruit powers he is in charge of Gran Tezoro's interior security.
 
I thought Mr. Tanaka was gonna be Chopper-size when the concept art was released.

I like these designs though. I hope Franky fights Dice, they're identically built.
 
I kinda want Usopp to fight Baccarat and have his bad luck underflow into good luck
