Player Icon Not Displaying

I'll go into a lobby and won't see anyone else's icon, but a really awesome black box instead.

Tried reinstalling the game several times, didn't fix. This has been happening for about two months now.
Any quickfixes?

lmfaooooo.

its was just the resolution.
when you play on anything less than 1150, it won't display the icons.

this is obviously not a real bug and just me being stupid.
