Part 1 (vs bella): What seems to happen is because only high block doesn't get pre-block from air moves, but low block does, you can cancel your upback jump animation by crouching into low pre-block.
Part 2 (vs Fortune): For some reason you can whiff moves near the dummy (after first touching it) to put it into pre-block and it'll act like it got touched and do the reversal recording.
Not sure how detrimental these things really are since if you just hold up-back you will upback anyway and I guess it means you can dodge throws by crouch blocking air moves, but that also means you can get hit high, but the dummy thing I think might be worth looking at.
