Not exactly sure where you read "they're trying to make the game easier" from, but okay.

Lol what the heck...did they get pressured or something. Shrines and Talent points especially sounds really dumb

The most hilarious thing is, a Dota 2 Elitist I constantly put up with said that now that Dota 2 has talents there's no reason to play Heroes of the Storm (because also Talents)
Talents in Dota 2 are flat stat increases or minor buffs, they don't come anywhere near close to Talents in Heroes of the Storm.

And it's stuff like this why I don't like talking about Dota or even MOBAs in general. (And I think I would find more pleasure in torturing people but that's just me. Reasons not exclusive to this thread.)
