The Smash Bros Discussion Thread

I both didn't see this coming and would have really preferred someone else.
I don't like the way his model looks, though. Part of this may be because of his hair which will never be okay, but his face looks really flat and weird.

Also, on closer inspection...it looks like the 2 clouds are seperate characters? One cloud uses its UP b and makes it, but the other one just falls.... and the models have different idle stances too....

I think that's supposed to be limit break cloud vs. Normal cloud, but anything is possible

Cloud was also a summon you could use in Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories on GBA (loved it! they totally should have used that costume; but I'm happy with advent children alt).

Poor Black Mage. I was rootin' for ya, buddy. I really was, even though I thought a Chocobo would most likely rep FF. But Cloud? I don't really know what to think about this yet, to be honest. I'm not mad or even disappointed, just genuinely perplexed. "Main guy from the FF game that caused a huge rift between Square and Nintendo for years" was not on my Smash radar at all.
 
I was honestly expecting K. Rool or someone similar to win.

Just goes to show that anything can happen.
 
Just remember Cloud didn't win the ballot or anything, this was just a popular character they assumed people would like over three months ago or so
