My mashing is always well thought and never done out of desperation. Mashing is a game mechanic, it's an aggressive defense, not a player mistake :p
Not much of an insult to me.
To me the difference is that if you're trying to reversal you input your invincible move right as the reset is about to happen, whereas if you're mashing you just constantly do and just pray that you get it.
Very true.
Unfortunately, most people doesn't get the difference.
The salt created when you eat a reversal has the same taste, did the opponent mash or not.

Not Skullgirls, but I played MvC2 against someone with the screen name "MyAssEatsMyHand." He was actually good, and would send you a message if he beat you saying that it was really your ass that ate his hand.
