I've just gotten done with a particularly laggy battle, none of the attacks were registering and everything was skipping.
I also realized that Eliza is really hard to fight in a battle like that with all her slides and overheads but, That just my opinion.
What character or characters did you find the hardest to fight in a laggy battle?

if there teleporting its doesn't matter your gonna EAT EVRYTHING regardless of how lame the mix up is theres been matches were it registered my block then said nawwwww they hit u and I was like im done take it

I'd say Filia because she's pixie and her moves are immediate and irritating.

This is gonna sound strange, but out of all those 200-600 ping matches I run into at my insane hours (my own fault really), my opinion is Squigly.

TL;DR - I think she has the fastest poke/ambigious mixup game to worry about, with high easily confirmable damage. I don't think that big band/fukua/filia/painwheel/whatever stuff other people hate today, can do mixups as safely or quickly.

If the other person knows what they're doing, they can just repeat divekick into stance-cancelled lows/throws with impunity. Those small gaps in the blockstrings are now completely nonexistent. The repeating normals means she can very quickly poke you out of any retaliation. It also means she can confirm combos even in heavy lag, and you eat 50% damage each combo. Each ambigious divekick also requires different timing to defend the next mixup, which means you're screwed in lag.

Daisy Pusher is not even punishable, much less reactable, with that much lag. SBO punishes buttons or directions in neutral, that you pressed 10f ago. Both lead to full combos. On top of that, you have to deal with drag'n'bite or cremation assist mixups to even *get* to her half of the time.

All that having been said, fighting anything really sucks in lag. Just about any kind of pressure pattern is totally impossible when you're playing too far behind to block or punish anything anymore and all of your moves are suddenly -20f.

Edit: Oh dang I didn't even realize who made the thread. lol awkward.

I've maybe had two or three laggy matches, and Valentine was the worst to fight in those scenarios. Well, based on my experience anyway.

Peacock, the answer is always peacock
When you see a 500ping double cock, you type in gg

All of them.

If characters that aren't Peacock start having teleports it's time to close the game.
Or play it and die of laughter.

For me it's a tossup between Peacock and Painwheel. For Peacock I'm starting to feel like I'm getting a better handle on things but with Painwheel she has so many ways to make herself safe I don't know when to punish her for anything. From flight cancels to armor to her j.MP, I just can't find a way around it.

It's cause I suck, but I could really use some advice on that front.

Edit: Wow... I missed the "laggy battle" part. But I still stand by what I say.

I've had my share of matches against a certain reset-happy solo teleFilia, it was a very relaxing and satisfying experience.

i vote filia, her IAD overhead/crossup shenanigans are hard enough to deal with offline, but with lag? alt+f4 uninstall skullgirls.exe plz

FILIA.......... Dat unnecessary teleporting mix ups

Filia and Peacock.
Done.

Peacock. I fought one about a year back where connection was so bad that the game never registered peacock starting up any attacks or showing projectiles, just my character randomly exploding

In order of descending severity:

Big Band. GIANT STEP. GIMME A HIT. SUPER SONIC.

Peacock. When you don't need to worry about whether your attacks hit or not, lag isn't as big a deal. Not to mention unstoppable teleporting.

Fukua. See Peacock, but with less projectiles and more immediate, decent range overheads and unstoppable throws.

Filia. The hyper-speed offense is much harder to deal with in lag, and with lots of lag, she doesn't even need to combo properly, just mash mixups and add hairball to everything.
