Squigly color map from Lab Zero stream

I'll have to make a sprite one day, but I just haven't gotten around to it.

You can use this, I think. Minimum effort to get it working, probably. Just color the sections, most likely.

On an unrelated note, can someone make some Adventure Time palettes? Marceline Eliza, Flame Princess Parasoul, The Lich Double, and Princess Bubble Gum Squigly with Lady Rainicorn Leviathan. Also, cause I can't wait for Season 2 of Gravity Falls, also requesting Mabel Peacock, Wendy Parasoul, Bill Cypher Double, Soos Big Band, and Dipper/Manotaur Cerebella/ViceVersa.

Eliza is Marceline, Double is the Lich King, Squigly is Princess Bubblegum (And Leviathan is Lady Rainicorn), and Parasoul is Flame Princess. All from Adventure Time.
I'll work on the Gravity Falls palettes at a later time. Though they WILL come soon!

Awesome, thank you very much! I think Marceleliza looks best. Could you make the whole staff red, to match the guitar?

Edit: I think Parasoul might look better with skin legs, matching her hands and face.
 
Oh hey, I just noticed you don't use shadows at all. Any particular reason?

It's easy. When you have a reference image, just take the color from the shadow for the shadows. If there is no shadow, just make the light color darker for the shadow.

Kay. Also, with reference colors that don't usually have shadows (a lot of cartoon characters sometimes don't regularly have shadows), you can do something like this.

You can grab two different reference pics from the show. Now I have what Marceline looks like in and out of light. I also occasionally look up reference pics that are actually fan art that shows a character with shadows. But, like I said, if all else fails you can just lower the brightness of the color.

Well, i mean all of the intricate shadow work of having their skin actually be like 5 different colors and shit xP
 
I usually just stick to two tones. Two is enough for me, any more than that is too many. Like, this one

Ayla, from Chrono Trigger (just realized her horns fucked up, and I don't want to fix it). There's only two tones, which is enough to create contrast and make it look better.

it does look good, I'm just not much of a visually artistic person :( i don't have an eye for making that sort of stuff. I just felt the need to make a vice palette for d. violet since I've been wanting to see one, and i didn't feel like bugging people and requesting one.
 
I haven't tried to watch Monster High yet. Is it good?

Yeah.I don't watch most of the webisodes,but the specials are awesome.

That depends how much you can stomach. I personally found the first season to be unbearable but it does get better. I won't say it's on the levels of MLP or Barbie Life in the Dreamhouse in terms of "breaking new grounds", but it's okay for what it does. There's still moments where it feels superficial and cliched. The specials are better though. I personally prefer its fairy tale counterpart, Ever After High, but even that isn't grand.
Just take a risk and see if it suits your fancy.

Peacock is Mabel, Big Band is Soos, Cerebella is Dipper (ViceVersa is Manotaur), Double is Bill Cipher, and Parasoul is Wendy, all from the show, Gravity Falls.

Yeah, that's why I edit templates a bit so I can basically paint bucket everything. Going pixel by pixel every time is ridiculous.

I also HAAAAAAAATE when a palette I use as a base has something colored black, that touches the outline..
