considering he's probably not dead in the manga, I'm gonna say no
 
I ask because this as far as I'm aware has been for dead characters.

I'm not up to date on part 8, I'm not speculating him being dead currently, but I don't know what else this effect could denote since as far as I remember it's always dead characters. It would be weird to spoil that he dies in this way.
 
Okuyasu's been shown with that aura and he's not dead.

Stuff should be coming out soon right? Please tell me Green, Green Grass of Home is a stage in this one, it's such a missed opportunity in ASB.
As is the absence of Survivor as a stage hazard.

the entire cast is DLC
the game itself is just a posing game with some music and a non-playable story mode
you shill out those shekels to actually play the game though

This build up has been pretty weird, they've pretty much shown everything they possibly can in terms of gameplay for every character in the entire game, I guess they're pretty much admitting its only quality is fanservice.
 
we've basically known that for a while now so I don't see much point in trying to find actual quality in this game beyond the fanservice and maybe the music ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I don't think anyone is looking for any? Beyond maybe hoping the story has fun moments for fans of the series, which considering Araki was at least overseeing it and the level of fanservice that appears to be in the game, I imagine it will.
 
Whitesnake Pucci and C-Moon Pucci are separate characters yes
there obviously wasn't any other possible Part 6 charcters, you see

To be fair dividing him was still just recycling content, any of these minor, random, unmemorable part 6 characters you are apparently vying for would be new work. It's not like they could have taken time off from making 5 of another character or 2 of yet another who already has never had more than 3 moves in any game he's been in, meaning stretching him out like that is baffling at best.

Also, I've largely been trying to avoid spoilers because I am going to play the game but,
I heard World over Heaven's power is mind control? That can't be true, right? Dio already has mind control, so not only is that power pretty circumstantial but also pretty useless and certainly disappointing. I don't want to know what it is if it is something else, just if that's the case or not.
 
I'm really surprised everyone from ASB got completely new themes for this game. Since they reused cinematic supers from that game, I thought they'd reuse music, or remix stuff. But nope.
 
C-Moon Pucci actually has a lot of new stuff
all they really recycled was uh
Pucci and C-Moon, really
they don't even have the Made In Heaven stage stuff, he just gets Made In Heaven and becomes Sanic
