Redownloaded Skullgirls recently only to be greeted by absolutely awful spikes of low FPS. A few months ago the game ran perfectly fine with no issues whatsoever but now I can barely go 5 seconds before another spike makes me drop a simple BnB. Not to mention the constant crashing which me and friends have experienced. After selecting characters and a stage there's like a good chance the game just crashes or the lobby breaks.
Is this just a me thing? Has anyone else experienced this?

Hi Kampan! Can I get your operating system info and system specs please? Is this occurring on beta or retail?

This is on the retail forum

8 Gigs of ram
Windows 10... is what I assume you mean by "operating system info"

What video card are you using?

@Kampan here is what I want you to do.

I'll need both a log file and a crash dump from you.

Crash dumps are located in the Skullgirls root Steam folder.

To easily navigate to the Skullgirls root Steam folder, right click Skullgirls on your steam list, click properties, and then click "browse local files". This will instantly take you to the Skullgirls root folder .Your crash dumps will be in the folder titled "crash-dumps".

For a log, I want you to enable the "-log" launch command. You do this by right clicking Skullgirls 2nd Encore in your Steam list and typing "-log" (without quotes) under launch options. Go ahead and play the game until you experience the stuttering or fps drop, then close the game. You can locate your log file with the steps above you used to locate your crash dumps: it will be the root Steam folder itself, and the file will just be named "skullgirls.log".

Attach those files to a response to this post, or (if for some reason SH has a super low attachment file limit) you can email both to me at chris @ hiddenvariable.com
