USA [May 27-29] Combo Breaker 2016 (Chicago, IL)

So will there be tables to use or will I have to put my keyboard on my lap? I could try to snag some foam dodgeballs for the true offline experience of zoning.

USA [May 27-29] Combo Breaker 2016 (Chicago, IL)

Oh right, I have an account here. After wrestling with payment issues surrounding expired cards and the headache of dealing with my bank to get things sorted, I'm registered and ready to drive down the street when the time comes.

    Skullgirls PC Beta Updates Discussion

Couldn't replays have the associated seed read and stored at the start of the match? Only complication I could imagine is that those random elements aren't currently seeded and would need to retroactively be applied to them.

    Skullgirls PC Beta Updates Discussion

Sadly this is not the case, I got the crash again in lobby when selecting an alt. Just my luck that it happens after I remove -log from the launch options, I'll try to get it to happen again.

    Skullgirls PC Beta Updates Discussion

Alright, managed to get a log of the crash. This time as player 1 in a lobby, but the same crash regardless -- happening on alt-voice picks. Most of it is just this for like 200 lines or something, I didn't bother to count RCS2: Socket error, just letting it go (timeout count 1, snoozing Y)...

I got a crash when selecting an alternate voice pack as player 2 in a lobby. It was before the alt pack was selected as the name had yet to change color, but it was after I had held my pallet choice for 40 frames. Will try to reproduce.

    Skullgirls PC Beta Updates Discussion

Either my hearing is going bad or the new clips sound substantially quieter than old recordings to the point where I actually can hardly tell what's being said unless I crank the volume for effects and music way down. I have voice at 100% and music and effects at 50% and 40% respectively, still...

Peacock Item drop not cancelled by throws.

There it is, for some reason everything is green jello and the item falling from the sky gets cut off at the end, but you can still see the shadow persisting despite both players participating in the animation.

Peacock Item drop not cancelled by throws.

I'll do what I can to replicate it, it caught me off guard so I'm not entirely sure of the particulars other than the fact that I was thrown while grounded. Actually now that I mention it, I should just check the replays. Will record it when I find which one it was.

Peacock Item drop not cancelled by throws.

I've noticed it happen a few builds ago when being command-grabbed by Beowulf but initially wrote it off as a visual error, as the shadow didn't disappear until the end of the grab. However, today I was grabbed by Squigly while holding an item drop, the shadow remained active. I released the...

What are some things about attacks you didn't know about?

I dunno what animation you're looking at, but the only time Peacock takes out a hammer is her jLP where she's clearly taking it out from behind her back. And then proceeds to put the hammer away in storage inside her eyesocket. If you're paying close attention when Peacock does her intro...

What are some things about attacks you didn't know about?

Peacocks cMK will trip airborne opponents. Only real time I've found it remotely reliable is as a counter to a Fortune attempting to overhead rekka. Road Roller is an overhead hitgrab, as such it will ignore armor and cannot hit assist characters. It also counts as an "Avery" move. While it...

    Nightmare Legion and Lenny

I too have been having difficulty recreating it, will post a video if I manage to bruteforce it. Maybe it was a weird chain of events that caused it to happen, this is what was going on when I ran into it: Peacock plants Lenny. Peacock then starts a teleport, Double uses Nightmare Legion and...

    The Palettes of Skullgirls

I don't see why there's any sensible reason to remove palettes at all. People have invested money into either backing or purchasing the DLC palettes, pulling the rug out from under them isn't in good faith regardless of intent. Players that use these palettes will feel like they're being...

    Nightmare Legion and Lenny

If Double snags Lenny with the first hit of the super, she will proceed to wail on the other character regardless if they were hit by the super or not.

    Peacock Gameplay General

Level 2 items all have the same hit properties afaik. Level 3 items should all give you plenty of time to work with; Tenrai Ha giving you even more time to work with and Road Roller allowing you to use another item drop immediately instead of relying on George. I think either your timing is off...
