The Big Bando Husbando Combo Threadando

Oh! Sarcasm! Our mistake. Anyway, c.HK xx H Beat Extend can be made easier. During (s.HP) ^ j.MP j.HP j.HK, delay the j.HK by a bit. This will cause Big Band to be a little lower when j.HK connects, giving you more time to connect the c.HP afterwards. Also, the c.HK link gets harder as your...

The Big Bando Husbando Combo Threadando

Skullgirls is a game where only knowing 1 decent hitconfirm combo is a huge disadvantage. Especially on poor Big Band. I'm not saying you *have* to learn better combos, but it's not good to get into the habit of auto-piloting your buttons.

@Fumako: If you mean "tricks that work anywhere on the screen," Big Band is a bit limited. Anyway, tricks ahoy: -Use H Beat Extend for better damage. You'll probably have to use c.LK c.MK s.HP H Beat Extend for it. -Try out not shaking. It may possibly increase damage with a Beat Extend that...

What type of controler you recomend and/or use?

I made myself a wooden Hitbox a few years ago, but I'm such a dedicated PS3 pad warrior that I'm too lazy to retrain my muscle memory for the thing. I even forked over the money for a PS360 custom board. USFIV is the only thing I'm comfortable playing on the thing; calling assists in SG:E and...

Upstaged! OFFICIAL NEW Squigly 240 Undizzy Combo Thread

Spencer gets the gist of j.HP, in that it's a very useful normal unless you get pegged out of the thing. It isn't normally THAT punishable, and I still use it pretty frequently, but it falls apart a bit against players with SRK assists. I often fight players who throw around Updo and Pillar...

If you do Timpani Drive in the corner (or move it into the corner), try to end the move with your opponent high up and you can land on them OTG with j.LK or j.MK. With a Taunt Timpani Drive, you land really early with OTG still saved and can get them with c.MK s.HK M Brass Knuckles into...

You'll have to check on your own, I won't be back on my PS3 until tomorrow afternoon. Look for something named "Undizzy".

The Big Bando Husbando Combo Threadando

There's a green meter that builds up under your opponent's HP bar that indicates the current Undizzy value, and you can see it drain once your opponent recovers. If the Undizzy is full when you start the combo, it will indeed result in a Green Burst (caused by Undizzy) at the c.HK, rather than a...

Upstaged! OFFICIAL NEW Squigly 240 Undizzy Combo Thread

Welcome to the forums, Mike. Why yes, there are more ways to get in with Squigly--in fact, j.HP and Gravedigger are some of the poorer options for connecting with your opponent. My usual plan with Squigly is mainly jumping around with j.LK (her best air normal, check the hitbox in training)...

Firstly, check McPeanuts' "Big Band Compendium." The first section is his more-or-less standard Big Band BnBs for massive damage, and I wouldn't be contributing much by rehashing them. That being said... there's actually a lot of room for improvement on your combo. Your combo, as you wrote it...

One Big Night! One Big Show! One Big Man! One Big Band! General Discussion

I disagree. I feel like Big Band just manhandles her. Just crouch in front of her and do c.HP/c.HK whenever you get an opening. c.HP into L_Knuckles if you have time. M/H_Knuckles if you need to get in... And don't ever use Blockbuster.

I wanna fiddle with this, but I won't be home for a few more hours... But if I can shortcut the air brakes, maybe I'll start using the long combos, haha.

The Big Bando Husbando Combo Threadando

To continue what Ninja posted, Big Band sadly doesn't have a universal combo; all his combo paths depend on screen position and whether or not you have assists and sound stun available to you. As for your corner combo into reset, though, you can extend it a little: c.LK c.MK s.HK M_Knuckles...

    Parasoul Assists/Teambuilding - A Princess needs Servants

The thing about Parasoul is that she has some of the stronger mixup and reset tools among the cast. Being on top of your opponent at a frame advantage is the best position that Parasoul could be in, so I wouldn't recommend giving that up with an assist ender that knocks your opponent full...

One Big Night! One Big Show! One Big Man! One Big Band! General Discussion

    I usually see H Beat Extend ^ j.LK(3) (delay) j.MK v s.MK at that part of a Big Band combo, not j.LP j.MP.

Squigly General: Art of the Daisy Pusher

I don't think there's anything specific you need to do to PB bait with Squigly. People just don't like being in Squigly pressure, what with the c.MK f.HP~Stancel, j.LP M Divekick (repeat) stuff, and tend to either mash reversal or wait and PB the moment they see the familiar c.LK c.MK series or...

The Big Bando Husbando Combo Threadando

Haha... it's like... somewhere in the middle of the thread. But Big Band is pretty straightforward in the combo department. Here's what I use: Midscreen: [Bread n' Butter] c.LK c.MK s.HP j.MP j.HP j.HK |> Tech forward c.HK H Beat Extend (full shake) j.LK(3) (delay) j.MK s.MK j.LP j.LK(3) j.MK...
