Just finished downloading the game, i'll have to wait until I get home from class tomorrow though to actually play it.

Ha, they're exactly the same reason why my want for the game rose as well. =p By the way, the game will apparently be 40% off on Steam this weekend. So now would be a good time to try and get it unless you want to wait for the Fall sale.

I've been watching a youtube playthrough of the game and while it was on my radar before, watching those videos really shot it up to the top of my Steam wishlist. It looks really fun and while i've seen that it can be hard it looks like one of those games that give off that just one more time...

A map feature would have been nice for the GBC game as i'm currently going through it and it would be handy to know the layout of some areas. But it looks like I ran into a game breaking glitch at the moment and had to reload from an old restore point a few hours back. Learned my lesson though...

Yeah, the eshop release. I like the series but no way i'd pay the exorbitant amount for the GBC cartridge.

I recently bought the first Shantae for GBC. and it was well worth the $5 I paid for it, put a few hours into already but I can already see why it has gotten so much praise. Now I just wish I had money to both contribute to this Kickstarter and to buy the DSi sequel. =/

Huh, just noticed that the GBC game is the staff pick of the week, considering the Kickstarter announcement I think that it's pretty appropriate. =p Just watched a trailer for the game on the eshop and everyone who mentioned the art/graphics/animation and all that, wow, you guys weren't kidding...

Did you have any trouble with the bull? I've seen so many topics of people having so much trouble with that boss to the point that it's a game ender for some. I personally love the boss fights, the music is awesome and that feeling of pulling through a tough fight after previous defeats is great.

So has anyone here played both current games in the series? I love Wayforward and have heard great things about the series and just realized that I have exactly $5 in my eshop account which is enough to buy the first game, so for those who have played the first one, is it worth it?

Then i'm with you there too? I love Fairy Tail, don't really care what the detractors say, it's been a fun ride so far and i'm glad that the anime will be returning eventually.
