I believe they did, but at the same time, seeing one character get added as a guest isnt out of the realm of possibility. We really don't know the rules aside from 7-ish chars from each represented franchise and a slot marked ETC that can be basically anything they want.

From what i can tell theres also an Etc area for the cast meaning may get cameo chars still yet. Plus there's probably gonna be releaee chars so im sure we'll see maybe 1 per game show up as dlc by release

I wouldn't be surprised if they gave S1 to everyone. Anyone who has those chars gets a bunch of fight money back. They old enough to either be put on a rotation or given for free by now.
