(...That I can get for this Kumite, which will hopefully be alot, but given it's literally two days to get as many people for this Kumite, I don't expect much. It'll be Best of 7 (FT4) or Best of 9 (FT5) [most likely] if I don't feel I have enough players.

I am also looking for co-commentators, and looking to talk to players in post-match mumble of what we think and feel about each other? Anybody be down, let me know here or on Twitter or Steam or whichever, but preferrably here!

Lastly, I do reserve the right to talk with the opponent and call the match off if we deem it not very well playable under lag.

With Combo Breaker right around the corner, I want to test my strength and mettle against all the Skullgirls players I can possibly gather and muster for this Kumite. To gather the widest spectrum in players, styles, tactics that I wish to taste and experience and think about before CB. And to hopefully have enough players to prepare me, physically and mentally, for the wall I will need to climb in pools at my first major.

Instead of scrounging for matches on the typical evening, I extend this invitation to everyone possible to test me, and I them!
I want to get the wildest variety of matches I can get, instead of what's usually been fighting against the same folks, mostly out from SGIRC, being that everyone's busy and such all with other folks, all that jazz. I understand that people got their own pools of people to play against and that they like to practice. I had planned on doing this much sooner, had I not had controller issues (didn't have one at the time), but those issues are fixed as of yesterday, at Maxout! I got 3rd, at least, with @Dhoppler taking loser's finals and @Fuzzy_Snugs winning. Again.

If I had to pick co-commentators that actually had PC Skullgirls, it'd be, @dekillsage (B&), @cloudKing211 , @mcpeanuts , @Kai (And he's a HELLA BUSY dad, so super unlikely), @Midiman maaaaybe @Elky_Dori, and I think I burned the bridge between me and @POS Industries (he has me blocked on Twitter) so oh wellll, not like it matters too much to me there. And I would kinda want to have @dapurplesharpie on there, but that's like mixing two chemicals together, you have no idea what's going to happen, but it'll probably explode and there'll be loads of shit talking and I don't want that. I would like thoughtful co-commentary and questions, with shittalk to a minimum except when someone really doing somethin' sliiiick.
Also RIP in peace no bootcamp Skullgirls on @keninblack's Mac the dream is dead.

So I'm literally tossing it in the air. Flush it go wild if you want in on commentary you might have a spot. And there's always player vs player post-match commentary.

edit: add a list of people who've joined w/ the maximum number obvious ( so like 1-15 in a list, and all of them blank so people know you want people and also how many maximum you wanna play )

I've got an exam right up until this would start, but if I can get back home in time to play [~6PM PST], sure! Sign me up as a maybe.

My american ping is usually 200+ but still relatively smooth and very playable.

Kumites are pretty much a long string of sets in a row with one person facing a lot of people. So a kumite could be a set of 10 FT5's or 20 FT3's etc. run by one person.

Sure. You can go first. I think it's a first time I'll be fighting you, too, if not at least it's been a long time. Get it over with though, hey, this is supposed to be a learning experience for either or the both of us, if it's a hassle

Hey yo @dapurplesharpie... @Midiman says he'd be down, can I get you and him on the mic? You might not be the most accurate on commentary, but you are the most enthusiastic and lively and actually fairly hype. Also @POS Industries and @mcpeanuts, care to get in on commentary too?

And are you still gonna join in for a set McPeanuts, or something come up?

Don't. I started out wanting to have commentary that covered play and had insight but
This is the Skullgirls community, where almost everyone is salty and shitposting every day
Every commentator just about likes to yell and go nuts and do stupid shit on top of actually commentating play

Sharpie, I apologize for what I said, cause even if it was meant as a lighthearted rib, I can see hurt feelings, and that's not what I meant at all. That came off as a burn and really I should get (spit)roasted for it.

So, I'm serious. Can you rock this mic with @Midiman?

Cause for all my attempts as of late, I'm apparently pretty terrible at being entertaining, hahahaha. And don't even play that people don't want you on the mic garb, people pack your streams something fierce because they enjoy you, myself included.

Welp, didn't exactly go the greatest, that's for sure. Technical difficulties the streeeeaaaam Especially regards to matches. Lag City got turned into Duff City for me, Lobbies came from hell and kept screwing with our commentators and me and the players, and Skype kept on dunking us all outta the Skype call. Eventually I just kinda got impromptu entrants in chat, too, at the end, ha.
A big thanks to Sharpie, Midiman, and surprise commentator and substitute, Wingzero, for commentating and keepin' on keepin' on and being with me 'til the brutal, bloody and nasty end.

And notes for the NEXT KUMITE and doing things like this:
For the love of EVERYTHING HOLY I need someone else to host the stream during any and every Kumite I ever do in the future. Never using Skype again, using Mumble. Skype kept dunking calls, and dunking/switching my mic input for whatever reason that I needed to reset the damn thing every now and then, and especially after every dunk.

I wish for a lot of things. That I was in a really good fighting mood (I wasn't), that I was focused (I wasn't), and the netplay was decent to fight with with all that going on and I just

Today wasn't a good day. Not even that representative of how I play, and throughout all the lag I just kinda gained a "fluff this and fluff that I don't give a fluff fluff everything" attitude throughout it but I made a committment and I remained talking decently I suppose
