Another week of Salty!, another week of news. With Eliza almost entirely complete and Beowulf in very early stages of development, Lab Zero Games have found the time to implement some interesting features into Skullgirls Encore:
- Fukua and Eliza now have tutorials! Not even secret characters are safe from Lab Zero's desire to keep you well-learned.
- On PS3, the home button needs to be held down when playing in tournament mode. This fix has existed for over a year, but was only recently approved by Sony. Shoutouts to severin!
- On PC, window borders disappear and you become unable to change window size/position when playing matches. This resolved an issue that has plagued PC fighting games for years which enables you to cause extreme lag to your opponent by holding the window border or by rapidly min/maximizing the game. To Mike's knowledge, Skullgirls is the first PC fighting game that has solved this longstanding problem which still affects many modern fighters to this day; if you can think of another game that has fixed this issue, tell him so he can eat a slice of humble pie.
