So this was a thing that happened.
The lobby options are stuck on the screen.

It's known but thanks for reporting this. There's supposed to be a lobby patch later but I dunno if this will ever get fixed but it has existed for years now on pc.

It usually goes away after seeing the character select screen.

Just dropping by to try shining some light on it.

Got it after stopping a quick match that was going on for a while (5 minutes I think), and then immediatly heading to the lobby play screen, which greeted me with an instant "Failed to join lobby" prompt, even though I hadn't tried to join any. After dismissing the prompt, the lobby menu options got stuck on the screen until I went to the training room character select screen.
