[Animation] Minette might be up to something

You guys can keep whatever you want, ya know. I'm not involved in the community-based design process aside from critiquing it in my head.
 
These are pretty good, but she would not ever EVER have a divekick.

Why not? I'm curious.
 
My bet would be that Minette never do direct attack, or attack by purpose. She would more likely bump on something else and it's that something else that do the actual attack.

Those picture and animation are really good by the way!

Because she is not a superpowered directly-alter-your-air-momentum rushdown character. Doublejump or float is about as far as I would go. Divekick doesn't fit her thematically or stylistically either.

But.....but......BUT....Squigly is a girlish, kind of frail, small yet big butted zombie, why can she and not Minette? :,C

I'd like to think it has more to do with Minette not having the same level of booty game but that works too.

....well who knows..honestly I kinda saw double as having the "booty" based attack down. With Minette iono I kinda don't see that kinda booty attack more like it would be just some kinda quick hit like during a combo attack. Does that kinda visual make sense?

Well, the drawings does say "HK WHAM Bootay!" so she probably can send you flying across the entire screen by hitting you with it, kinda like Robo Fortune's HK, so it would be suited to finish a combo or as a launcher maybe, it isn't like Squigly's, who can send you flying out of the screen with it (i wonder where a booty smash from Filia would send a person to, the moon maybe?)

Hmm I suppose that would be a good keep them away attack, especially if her fighting style is based around the getting tips gimmick also if she actually did get better or slightly different moves based on how much courage/tips she makes. That technically means it would be essential since I don't know how many well proficient keep away or knock back attacks she'd have. Or am I reading into fighting formulas wrong...I would honestly love to know I'm only taking guesses and I'm not sure if i'm in the ball park or not ^^;

See it as a "get out of my face" attack, to make some space if some rusher (like Filia) has her cornered up.

Then wouldn't it make more sense for it to be a swoosh heavy kick? I feel just a heavy kick launch would be to spam-able....or is it cuse of how she fights it could be acceptable?

i don´t think it will be spamable if it sends the opponent flying far away, and since it's a HK it will probably have a high cooldown, so blocking it is pretty much what you need to then punish her.

I've always considered Minette's movelist to be similar to Servebots from MvC2, @Stonechimes ' work seems to be very reminicent of that style.
