skullgirls will be an event at the next STL BarWarz Weapon X Summit.
other games will be the predictable umvc3 and ssf4ae2012 and potentially a umvc3 low tier tournament and a typing of the skullgirls 2v2 tournament.

Definitely want to try and show up for this! I'll ask my local scene if anyone wants to come down, but I dunno if they will.

Has a time been determined for when this is actually going to start? I'm assuming later in the evening? Just curious because if I can somehow make it, I would need to figure out when to leave my place.. (and look into accommodations lmao)

*edit* Well $*%!. Just noticed this happens to be on the next SNS day. I really should've payed more attention. Sorry to get people's hopes up (if I did) :x

I think we'll get a car full. Roblox has a new job so he might not make it. But I'll be down with ryden onkars, kieb/klone (kevin, whatever the hell is tag is), and fullbleed for sure. Charlie might join us too.

2:30? PM? Daaaaaaaangit. Why oh why are you making me consider driving 3 hours down in the morning and then 3 hours back to make it in time for SNS? Now I'm torn because it WOULD be possible... It just boils down to how determined I am to making it to both events. Oh bother...

If it would make Taluda show up, I'd be fine with pushing for an earlier time. SNS starts at 10, so giving taluda a 30 minute buffer time from when he arrived home would mean he'd have to go around 6:30-ish? Starting at 2:30 would be 4 hour-ish then, so I guess it depends on how many we expect to show.
 
well, we cant start earlier than 3. we wil probably have 2 or 3 setups with the game being available on ps3 (and maybe xbox) and if you want you can just do you SNS from my place then drive home in the morning...
 
sorry for the late notice, but i am thinking that with the big band patch out on ps3 and steam we should run standard skullgirls (not beta). also because mike seems to be using beta for experiments again. this does mean that there would be no fukua, though.

comments, questions, concerns?

(also with it on ps3 we might get some stream time)

Just commentating alongside Nightphyre really. Just need a PC, headset and decent internet connection to do what I do.

That said one of my tires on my car went flat yesterday. Called around for a replacement and apparently it's an odd size and no one has one in stock. I was told they would have to have it shipped to them... So to make a long story short I'd need to borrow a vehicle to get down there. If I can make that happen, I'll be down.
 
i think we are starting the sg tournament at 230 so after it ends... we could probably do the 4v4 around 5, hopefully mvc3 will be done by then (mvc3 starts at 3) is that good on your end?

Yo guys. It'll be four from KC. I think we talked about it somewhere but, can we crash at your place Ben? I'm thinking chicken and waffles. We'll have to hit up the store, for chicken breasts after the 4v4 and tournament, but I got the flour, starches, and seasonings.

shit sounds good, and yea we should have room (but someone might have to double up on the spare bed or futon) or we can find hao's dinky little mattress thing that she swears works but i think is made of lied and disappointment.

@Dhoppler : we can do a round robin if you want, but all the X vs Y things ive seen have always been pokemon style.
 
If that's the case, all the x vs y things you've seen are ass.
 
i usually just watch ones from japan...
 
To update you guys on whats up, my car is now fine and repair'd and will be picked up this weekend. Major thanks to everyone for having a good time, cause I would've been really bummed about the car the whole time if it hadn't been a fun time. And again, major thanks to ben for being the best dude and letting me stay while I tried to figure out my car situation. Car drama aside, I enjoyed coming down to see you guys a lot! Though it may be a while if I ever come back to one of these, as I'm sure you guys can understand.
