Aquapazza: Where School Girls can FIght Swordsmen into Obscurity

Wanted to make this thread just to see who had the game, let alone knew of the game and maybe have some match up discussions, or let it spiral into Waifu talk...anything could happen. Also maybe who plays online (seriously, online is already dead even though the game is really solid). It's a pretty great fighter, especially for budget price.

Been playing a lot of Manaka and I'm really digging her. She has amazing Keepaway tools like throwing books at different arches and her "Please, Stop it" super can push you all the way across the screen even on block if you're stuck in the corner.

i love this game.
I main Arawn w/ Ma-Ryan assist, its hella fun, very strong footsie game.
Tamaki is always really fun too, she's such a strong grappler. I play her with Mizuki assist for the most gimmicky throw setups

I like that one Witch assist too, who drops the traps.
One thing i really hate though is the stupid Singing girl assist that takes up the whole screen, that shit is retarded.
I highly recommend this game to anyone though, Its soo easy to get into but really fun.

Yeah, I use Ma-Ryan assist also with Manaka, been trying to learn Rainnon but she's just weird and her half-circle and DDD Charge(?) moves are a pain on pad, still fun though with Yuki assist (not sure if your talking about her or Rina though I find Rina more annoying)

Yea, Riannon is interesting, but she just sucks.
I was talking about Rina (i think?) The one that has a long cooldown, covers the whole screen, and locks out your opponent from calling assist for the whole duration

My friend has some setup with Rina that's an automatic guard crush unless you alpha counter out. And it does like 70% dmg.

Have it and was surprised the game got localized. Arawn + Octavia assist (mostly because of wanting to rep team Tears to Tiarra). Game is very anime in terms of aesthetic, but plays pretty differently compared to other existing anime fighters. The Emotion system really encourages aggressive gameplay.

I don't own the game, but I do play it. I may get it eventually but I don't have much of a reason to do so.

I play Tamaki with Ulthury. Being able to anti-air grab someone in blockstun is greeeeeeeat.

Planning to get it at some point. The thing holding me back is I have literally no idea who any of the characters are.
I know they're from Anime, but I still don't know them.

Dengeki's game at least has a few characters I'm familiar with.

But I still plan to get it at a later date.

Yeah, they're all from hentai games.

I don't think that's true.
I mean, I partially know some, but I haven't seen too many of them

All of the games that crossover in Aquapazza do fall under the Eroge genre (though any that has console/handheld release or ports are clean of any hentai scene in the console version, PC version is probably a full hentai), the only real difference is that Tears to Tiaras is a Tactical RPG and ToHeart2's spinoff, Dungeon Travelers, was an RPG while the rest were VNs

...Huh.
Well.
Didn't see that coming.

But there is a very big difference between Hentai and Ecchi/Eroge, isn't there?

Pretty sure eroge and hentai games are the same thing.

Edit: basically, hentai seems to be a term usually used by non-Japanese speakers, since hentai literally translate to pervert and it sounds pretty negative. Eroge (erotic game) or galge (girl game) have a much nicer connotation than "pervert game".

So funniest thing happened a couple of days ago, I picked up Sasara with Rina assist and during a match with my friend and his Hakuowlo, he did his Splash Art where he becomes a demon (We-Rene Mitea) and Sasara's heavy Shield Bash absorbed all of the dark Aura... HOW?
