Some of the Lab Zero Games staff (me and the lead/senior animators) will be holding a panel at MomoCon next month! Anyone already going to that?
Anyway, I was thinking of running a tournament for SG there, but it looks like there's already one planned: http://www.momocon.com/events/video-games/
In the interest of getting some genuine hype going, who in the Atlanta SG scene thinks they can stop me from winning this thing?
The tournament will begin around 1PM on Saturday.
Also, here's the schedule of panels we'll be attending, in case you want to catch up with us and say hello:
Friday 5/23 @ 8:30PM: Games as an Artform - Featuring the team from Skullgirls and Ke Jiang, art director for ThatGameCompany, and possibly a Riot Games animation director. This is an open panel discussion about art, and its influence on game design.
Saturday 5/24 @ 8:30PM: Skullgirls panel - Open discussion about Skullgirls with the team behind the game.
Sunday 5/25 @ 1PM: Game Kickstarting - How crowd funding helped grow projects like Shadowrun Returns, Golem Arcana, Ouya, Emotiv, and Skullgirls.
