This week saw the birth and explosive growth of the Skullgirls Danisen League, organized by long-time competitive SG player @keninblack! It's something that everyone reading this article should be a part of.
For those unfamiliar, danisen is a point-based ranking system wherein players gain or lose points from the victories and defeats they experience with other Danisen League members. Gaining enough points will earn you a promotion to a higher rank, and losing too many will earn you a demotion to a lower rank. With 15 ranks to crawl up, even the most competitive of players will have their work cut out for them if they want to reach the uppermost ranks... but don't mistake this as meaning only competitive players are welcome.
In the words of keninblack, the Skullgirls Encore Danisen League was created "to build a consistent way to play and practice the game, ALL while having a fun and competitive drive for it." Anyone who wants to fight is welcome, both hardcore veterans and upstart newcomers looking to prove themselves. No one is being left out, so everyone should take the time to join. And while you're at it, tell your friends!
The Skullgirls Danisen League is currently being run on the PC/PS3 versions of Skullgirls, with separate groups for each console. Check below for info!
