Report Beowulf released for Steam, PSN, and XBLA!

Was hoping I'd get to play through Beo's story before I had to leave for work, but it seems that won't be the case =/ At least I have something to look forward to when I get back!


On a side note, it seems weird that the game update is there, and it shows Beowulf in the roster as DLC, but the man himself has yet to appear in the store. Anyone have an answer as to why this is the case? I'd guess it's because Beo the character is handled separately from the patch, but I dunno.

Yeah, it's most likely it that the files for Beowulf are separated from the WulfPatch because he's a DLC character.

It's really weird since the EU PS3s won't get him until the 24th... And they still have the patch. Also, as I said before, the patch on steam was programmed for 5:10 PM (on my time zone: UTC -3:00)
 
Also, the game works like that. The DLCs are inside the game, but in the digital stores what you make is to unlock them.
 
Really hope my Ps3 doesn't decide to just up and die when Beo is actually out on PSN. That is when I will cry real tears. My Ps3 needs a fuckin defibrillator.

Awww Dude, don't be like that... you have three months to get BW DLC. I know that this wait sucks, but we can't do a thing to change it. Life is a b!tch...

Unfortunately, nope. And it's already half to 4 in the morning here.
 
You know I'm going to be really disappointed if Beo appears after 8 AM because I'll be very busy from that time.

Oh crap you're implying that Beo will be out close to midnight...

I mean I feel like I should go through Beowulf's Story Mode as quick as possible to edit the OP of his Lore thread.
 
23:00 here, seems like no sign of Beowulf. Chances are I'll have to wait tomorrow to play him.
Is him going to be showing in the DLC page or itt will be like Eliza where you had to search for her separately?

I've tried searching for him but I cannot find him in the steam store online

For the record, Steam won't get him until PS3 does, as L0 wants to keep platform parity <read: they wanna make sure consoles get their shit together before deploying his Steam key>

Man PS3 should make Beowulf available before at least 6 AM or else I'll play when it's night time which is... more than 24 hours after Xbox's release.
 
If beowulf does not come out soon Im going to be in a pool of salty tears for the seconded time.

But it should be on ALL consoles they're planning to release.

Wasn't the point of releasing them all simultaneously was to make sure no one would be at an advantage? Besides endless beta players
