The thread about lobby chat got me thinking:
What if the background NPCs were controlled by the spectators? Say, like, 4 NPCs were given a few frames for emotes like get hype, embarrassed laughter, and shake my head. Then give the each spectator control over that NPC and let them, "shout," at the fighters at the end of the round via a speech bubble (70 char limit, allowing for short messages like, "nice comeback!" or, "dem resets :O").
I think the work that would need to go into this would probably make it a Skullgirls 2 feature, but still, no time time like the present to get that ball rolling.
