Big Band Big Band Glitches

Ever since the latest update the game has crashed on me numerous times. It wasn't until recently that I discovered that it was Big Band causing the problems. Whenever I go into a match with him, the game crashes. However, just a little while ago the game didn't crash when I went against him. This was what happened.

That's what a corrupted file looks like.
The "have you plugged it in" steps:
- Rightclick the game in Library -> Properties -> Local Files tab -> Verify Integrity of Game Cache
- Wait, see if it redownloads anything
- Exit and reopen Steam
- Wait, see if it redownloads anything
- Try playing again
