Just got the word, VIZ media (Ranma 1/2, Bleach, Death Note, Naruto, Tiger & Bunny) will be doing the English dub.

They also have the license now for the original series. (CN's license expired.) They are re-dubbing all five of the original series unedited and on Blu-Ray. They will be digitally remastered. The first season used cheep 8mm film before the show got popular and they started throwing more money at the producers for later seasons. The cleanup will be a welcome sight. Don't expect it to be widescreen or anything as the original wasn't. It was all ink and paint photographed and edited on film, no computers.

I've been watching the original episodes on Hulu Plus and the footage looks REALLY good. they just got to Mercury and I'm waiting for the first of the big 3 scouts to appear. kinda glad to have another scout on the team now that Mercury has joined. Usagi isn't bad, it's just that I never watched Sailor Moon for Sailor Moon herself, even though she's not a bad character at all.

Yes. It's her "Venus Love-Me chain" which later forms into "Venus Wink Chain Sword."

This will not be given the same treatment that was given to DBZ Kai. I think Toei learned from their last mistake.

Takeuchi gave the dub cast her blessing, but they didn't say if she had any hand in picking the cast itself.

And since this is a ViZ dub we can expect a few regulars to be somewhere in the cast. Stephanie Sheh, Wendee Lee, Kari Wahlgren, Michelle Ruff, and Laura Bailey will all be in there somewhere

I have to admit, I seldom watched Sailor Moon; I preferred DBZ, Tenchi Muyo and Outlaw Star in those days but some years ago I started watching SM to give it a try and I really enjoyed it. Didn't have the time to finish it though, but I'll definitely watch the reboot and catch up on the old eps when I can. My favs are Sailor Jupiter, Sailor Venus and Sailor Mars - gushes-

they're actually not too expensive for figuarts. I'd definitely say if you have a scout who's design really speaks to you, go for it. I have a few Rider figuarts myself and they are amazing.

Problem is I really like all the characters in terms of design. It's also one of those things where if there's a series I'm gonna want all of 'em.
There's also the difficulty of justifying this to myself when I already bought two figures this month.

lemme just tell you, there will be plenty of these figures coming out with the series revival.

I doubt figuarts will let a gold mine like this just suddenly drop. you should be good in collecting these at a very slow pace.
