This show is so GOD like people if you have not seen it I highly suggest it but just a preview of this show for those who have not seen it here you go.....

By far one of my all time favorite anime series ever made!

The real show is gritty, violent, realistic (to a point), and very dark (all aspects of a more Western show.)

Also not to mention this is like Michael Bay the anime 0.0
 
Sadly, Black Lagoon is one of my few shows I just couldn't continue watching. And I have no idéa why. It was after epiosde 10. I just, had no motivation continue watching it ;(

But for black lagoon I can safely say the dub is superior to the sub in every way. THEY HAVE A BLACK GUY VOICE A BLACK GUY THATS UNHEARD OF!!!!!

the only thing that the sub does better than the dub is that scene where Revy is speaking English with a HEAVY Japanese accent.
I'm sorry but I love it when women do that. don't know why.
 
I honestly hated this show, none of the characters are even marginally likeable and the plot tried so hard to be convoluted and deep that it subsequently went completely stale. I couldn't recommend the show any less.

I mean go ahead and try it out and if you like it then good for you, I'm just saying what I think.

Is there a list of things that the anime does better than the manga
Cus that's a question I ask myself for literally every anime and there's generally no list.

Other than perhaps "colour", but I don't need that

Ok for this show I would say:
* The music is well orchestrated
* The animation is done by Mad house (the same people that did Death Note and Hellsing Ultimate)
* The English dub (in my opinion) was well executed and really suspends your disbelief
* You cant make explosions like this in the manga
* I have read the manga and the story is identical
so..... It really depends what you prefer for this case there is no filler stuff and the story is almost identical (with some slight and I mean slight differences)
 
I highly enjoyed this show. It's pretty cool that like every powerful character or leader was a badass woman. Stylized violence and action.

joshb is actually SG illuminati so we let him do whatever he wants.

I enjoyed Black Lagoon, though I think it's a bit overrated. Roberta's Blood Trail could have been really good, but they messed up the ending pretty bad IMO.

I'll have to agree with that they could of made it far more bad ass. However..... ROBERTA IS CRAZY AND SHIT AND SHE WAS ALL LIKE GOTTA POP PILLS AND FUCK SHIT UP!!!!!!!!! That's my opinion on the blood trail

The more think about this show again, the more I think it really stands out. The character diversity is just something I never seen before and haven't seen again.

Big O was sooo good. Japan was like, "You hear about that batman show they got? Let's do something like that!"
And they did, and it was amazing and had that real American feeling to it.

Well yeah Big O had the feel of an American show, that was the intention of the creator, and Adult Swim helped the second season's production funds and such <they're on the credits, even>

I guess i'll try this out, but I don't know if it's something I can get into.
