Peacock
Hi folks, I'm Pelicanos. I've had Skullgirls in my steam library for a little while but after some years of playing Project M, a smash variation, I've decided I wanna poke around in other fighting games. For the past week I've been playing some Skullgirls, favoring Peacock and Cerebella over the rest of the cast. I've been trying to get into SFV but I realized that I wouldn't be satisfied if I couldn't just play peacock. So, until I perfect my fundementals enough to seamlessly bring assist combos to the table and secondary Cerebella, I've been putting in my effort to learning about Peacock, her combos, and how to lock people down from across the screen with pressure. Things I need to work on include improving reaction times during air combos, and utilizing Lonesome Lenny better so that I'm using it only in situations that I can guarantee enough pressure to keep the other person in the hitbox.

I'd love to play with more people who are low-level players like I am. I've added some of the faces I've seen in online lobbies, as I've been pleasantly surprised to see some of the same ones each night. All the same I hope I can meet some nice folks while kicking ass and looping the same vocal cues over and over. I'm gonna keep this thread updated with how I hold up (or don't) as I try to push closer to the high-levels of this game.

tbh if you want to play Peacock and Bella you should probably just do that. You learn more about the game playing it with a team than you learn playing it solo anyways.

I agree with @mcpeanuts but in the case that you decide to go solo peacock anyway my advice(because I originally started playing SG as solo peacock) is learn when it's your turn to advance offensively you don't have an assist to help you so you'll have to learn blocking and grab teching well but also try peacock/bella
