I was looking for improvement, and I ended up finding a burst bait :
the cool thing is, it's reliable : as long as you cancel right on the last hit of cerecopter, it will work

EDIT: hmmm...that combo is super hard to put out in a real match cause you need to be real close to the corner...I guess the ideal situation is after a burst bait.
the bait i posted on the reset thread can lead to counter hit titan knuckle devil horns...that can lead to interesting stuff, i'll study that

Does this still work? I tried on squigly and the pummel horse is teched out of every time.

Also, this is mostly for the other thread, but maybe you know. For the flowchart combo, someone mentioned replacing the ending with s.lp, s.mp, s.hp xx pummel horse , s.hk cerecopter xx dynamo. This causes green burst (undizzy?). Has that changed? Or am I just missing something?

For the mgr combo,you need to delay the s.hp, or the opponent will be considered airborne, which will make the s.hp smash him to the ground again, aloowing to tech immediately as otg was already used (timing is a bit odd, but doable)

For the flowchart combo, he either does something else at the beginning of the combo, or it's a counter hit combo (gives you more undizzy to work with). Usually, the last chain of the flowchart combo makes the undizzy full, so it's impossible to add another one without triggering a burst.

Which my BnB cuz more damage than flowchart, and I don't have to do this freaking j.lp mash j.hp combo >:|
(And cuz run stop gombos are stylish and makes me feel good about myself)

anyway im loving the fact i can combo easily after regular airthrow with bella now, its soooooo good.

got a simple combo after airthrow that does 4.8K before super and 5.8 after. works on everybody to my knowledge.

(airthrow) j.LK, cr.MK, J.MP-HK, cr.HP , J.LP mash -HP, st.LP-MK-HP xx Pummel horse, cr.MP-HK xx cerecopter (super)

Oh, it still works on everyone and it's still hard. The dash at the beginning is basically a buffer to make sure you can delay the c.lk the right amount of time, on light characters you need to catch them an instant before they hit the ground. I think the s.hp delay is the hardest, but it can also be hard to visually confirm that you got the c.lk late enough, and if it misses you're left whiffing/getting blocked with Pummel Horse.

Understandable. I can get it in on Parasoul roughly 60-70% of the time, but not squigly. Man, I dislike that character. All of my combos are so hard to execute on her. Im da wurst :*(
 
squigly needs to eat more or stick her arms out or something thats her problem

I still need to try this on others, but, well, here it is. I'm done. Also, fail trumpet.

Edit: I must clarify this. 2v3 it kills at Dynamo. 2v2 it beats someone within a sliver of their health with DHC into TubaTubaTuba if you have it, and if you don't, there's still not much left after Horn Crush. They'd be easily chipped out. And if you have 3 meter after all of this, just bust out the BB's LVL3 after Dynamo. If I recall that's pretty sure to kill.
Works on all lightweights.

Hello @keninblack if it aint too much trouble, can we have the OP updated with all the current working combos? So that everything is easier to find?
 
I did it! I broke 10k with one meter!
Requires H bypass assist, and only works on lights, but yeah!
Heavy version does 9.4k and possibly could use some tweaking.


EDIT: These combos are midscreen only cuz kancho
EDIT: I just realized the meter gain of these combos O.o

Warning, my next posts will contain devil horns and loads of damage.

Actually working hard on finding big fat optimized combos, so here are the corner combos, specific to Ms Fortune and peacock :
1) 1 bar, 9698 damage, ending with just titan knuckle will give you a safe jump opportunity
2) 1 bar, 9117 damage, a bit easier, except the s.hk run stop c.lp link
3) 2 bars, 11008 damage
4) 2 bars, 11595 damage, the c.mp and the s.hk timings are tricky
5) 2 bars, 9492 damage, can be done starting further from the corner

to compare, the advanced BnB does 7931 with 1 bar.
most need you to be real close to the corner, so I added up one (the last one) that can be done at a reasonable distance.

These combos are actually doable on almost every light character, but are the easiest on fortune and peacock because c.mk titan knuckle DH doesn't require any special timing, so they are more reliable on these two.

will follow, every few days :
• corner combos after a grab/dynamo (will most likely work on every character)
• midscreen after airgrab
• corner after usual starter (c.lk c.mp c.hp)
• maybe a parasoul corner combo with devil horns, depends if I find anything interesting

All combos will be hard, but practical (sometimes), optimized and won't need any assist.

Uh? I mean, is this the advanced combo that dude was referring to, or is this just an advanced combo (with no beginning. it could literally start like 6 different ways)? My confusion is mostly at him talking about an Advanced BNB as if there's one that people have been holding up and regarding as something special. Cause people have been posting BNBs that break 8k off 1 bar for a minute. I was thinking maybe he was talking about the Night Phyre flowchart advanced combo, but that one breaks 8k as well. I'm just confused is all.

Decided to start recording some of my combos since I found a way to record without my computer exploding.

Current corner bnb on lights, works on every light character and does 9k


Combo that I've been practicing to make it my new bnb, also works on every light character (super difficult on squigly) and does 9.7k.


I'll record my midscreen combos and heavy character combos eventually.

My bad for being so ambiguous, my brain was a bit tired after all the time I spent on the video.
When I say "advanced BnB", I refer to the night phyre's easy mode combo flowchart advanced combo. It has been my BnB for so long I just didn't think its use wasn't actually universal among the players (silly me).
But this one contains a j.lp mash, that I hate, so I got lazy and did my version (the 7.9k combo caiolugon is refering to), but as I was doing it on fortune, I ended it with c.lp c.mp because s.lp x2 s.mp tends to whiff on her...
I wasn't expecting a whole argument about that :-/

Wouldn't it be better if people use assists in the combos they post only if it is necessary for those to work, not only to add a bit more damage?
It would make them easier to compare.
Adding "assistless" or "needs this assist" before the video would be nice too.
 
You're in luck, I made one just like that right now.


For use if you've got them in the corner, just call big band and clap. Five gazillion years to hitconfirm, if they block right you still get a mixup after of course.

ah, c.hp double j.hp...before encore edition, it was almost my signature...
I noticed it was super hard to find a combo HCH that is undizzy optimized and damage optimized.
If anyone has one for Bella...

Man, I like this combo and it's not that hard either! My real reason for posting though is, what does HCH mean? I was creepin on your other videos for some ideas and I see stuff like NCH too that I also don't know what it stands for.

Beware. This is coming from a guy who has no idea what SDE or MDE even stand for lol.

CH stands for Counter Hit, so NCH means no counter hit, HCH is high counter hit, and so on with LCH and MCH...
and I don't know either about SDE/MDE

It came from Mike, a couple months after the game dropped, announcing a patch that changed a few things. He called it "Slightly Different Edition" jokingly, and people liked it. After that, people just called the next patch More Different Edition, though some people called it SQE, or Squigly Edition.

The at the last horn in the second combo you could have did execerebella to squeeze out a tiny bit more damage before going into super, but whatever it's still cool.

True, but I mostly was just trying to make combos that worked that had as many horns as possible. You *might* be able to get an 8th with a certain assist, but I'm not sure. I wasn't able to find a way :(
