Ever get tired of watching combos on youtube and failing to ever use them yourself? Bored of getting the timing wrong in that one combo? Is your go tocombo no longer possoblw because of balance updates? Well, no more! In quite a few fighting games I played, there was always one amazing feature that got me to learn how to fix these problems: the always helpful challenge mode!
For those unfamiliar with it, Challenge mode is a place where players learn their specials, supers, combo strings, bnbs, and finally Marlinpie style combos.
Challenge mode should also come with a Demonstration, so if you can't figure it out, a small video will show you how to get things done.
The combos should behave much like the ones in Tutorial mode. If you mess up, you got to restart...or do you? Why not be able to save states in areas you mess up on until you get it right and save some salt?
I have a bit more to add on, but I will stop here for now.
