going to bring my PS4 setup to GGA weekly now as well as my PS3 (for other games). So we'll have a permanent SG setup every week regardless of who comes. Definitely come by if you can
 
why did no one say there would be SG at EXP this week, my local Indy guys told me they were going but no one knew SG would be there so I elected not to go :(

Hey so quick question. What system you guys run SG on at ignite? I am here in chicago for a few days and planning to go to ignite on sat
 
It'll probably be PS3, possibly PS4 if @Kai or others bring one. If you have a PS3 arcade stick you should be good regardless. If you only have a 360 stick, I'm sure someone around woudln't mind lending you an arcade stick you could play with.

If you're a pad player, uh, I think Ignite lets you rent pads.
 
I could conceivably bring a PS4, if nobody else can bring anything. I'd rather that be a last resort, though, as I'd be denying it's use to somebody else back home.

Its fine with the ps3. I brought my 360 pad with converter to play on ps3.
 
Quick question, fastest way to get to ignite from wrigley field? I be headed out there after the game. Also if anyone wants to help me out with a ride that also be cool.

Well there are Indiana guys who want to go, but we need to fix a car problem first, so I really can't say I'll make it till something happens with them.
 
I also missed WIT due to illness... still sick. uuuuuuuuuuggggggggghhhhhhhhh
 
Well its last minute but just got word on plans and it looks like I can go (assuming I make it in time), so hopefully see you guys there!

They have them there. And if not, I can go home and get one, I'm 10 min away.

I asked again, and he said he didn't have his ps4 setup with sg but we have ps3s, and I assume everyone is fine with ps3 and we are getting robo on there as we speak, so all good

From what it sounded when I was asking the guys there about going to other events, most everyone has hard enough time being able to even get to the Chicago events themselves. So unless people carpool either together or catch a ride from other players who happen to want to go (like me and the Indy Marvel crew), it seems difficult for traveling.

BTW Shoutouts to hooking up the PS4 on Callisto's setup knocking out the power on the nearby setups. Rare Footage of SG ACTUALLY killing marvel. :P

Not me. I'd love to go, but I can barely make it to locals. Out-of-state stuff is pretty much never gonna be a possibility for me. I can't even squeeze in NEC :(
 
We could probably figure out some sort of solution for hosting out of town players for Friday/Saturday night in the near future, provided you give us advance enough notice. Is the 8 hour drive there and back the main reason people don't want to come? I'd imagine that's a REALLY hard sell for a one day event.

Hey guys, I'm working on getting some details ironed out with the rest of the staff group, but I'll hopefully have some updates regarding SG at Frosty Faustings some time next week.

Cool. I feel like, after Combo Breaker, we can do Frosty Faustings a lot better than we did last time (23 people). I'd like to see a 32+ bracket.

Yeah 32 was the number I was gunning for as well. What has turnout been like at the WIT monthlies?

Manged just under 16 on the first month, and varying numbers around 10 since then. I think with regional travel and just having local folks decide to finally come out for a bigger thing, we can get 32 at FF.
 
I'm looking into coming out to FF next year, and make my usual appearance at Combo Breaker. started with UFGT9 in 2013. So much fun.
 
So is there any weekly, bi-weekly, or even monthly fighting game meetup or something that has Skullgirls?
