Continuing a crashed netplay lobby game by loading a save state?

@Mike_Z would it be possible to have a game save state right where it disconnected and load that state when the same players play again in that lobby? If it's too hard to implement then don't bother, just focus on other things.
 
SG's savestates aren't compatible between different games, and it would take a lot of work to make them that way.
More work than tryna fix lobbies, for example. :^P
