(If there's a thread on this already, I'm terribly sorry..)
Anyone around here a huge fan of thoseMicromanagement strategy games that Paradox Interactive makes? I put CK2 and EU in the title as they're the most popular from the company, though my favourite is Hearts of Iron 3, AKA the most Micromanagment-ey game conceived. It's pretty damn difficult, it goes by slowly, you always have to be doing something with your army, and even the easiest nation to play, Germany is difficult. I mean, after successfully invading Poland, as soon as I turn my attention to Belgium, France and Holland, Britain just suddenly lands a massive invasion force near Denmark, basically screwing me over.
Aside from that, if you've got the mindset for that game like me, it's really fun and it can be tense, if you've just planned out an operation for the last 20 Minutes, and then just unpausing the game to watch it unfold or fail miserably (usually the latter, this game is haaaard..)
As for CK2, I can't say I'm a fan, IN MY OPINION it feels like an expansion pack of EU4 with emphasis on one element with a hefty £29.99 Pricetag just with more popularity. EU4 is like HoI3 just a lot less micromanagement and generally looks nicer with less buttons and a nicer interface.
*Prays that this thread wasn't made already or did something wrong*
