If there's a part of a shirt you don't like you can request to get it removed right? I've been told that's a mean thing to ask but I just think that new fortune shirt looks much cooler without fortune on it.

(and I coulda sworn there was another thread for this kind of question but I'm too lazy to look for it.)

No, we can't change the designs once they're printed.

OHHH, OK. I thought it was just me that couldn't find the artists. So there's gonna be a way to search stuff by artist then?

Uh, the tumblr always has the artists and links to their respective pages. No idea on when the site would have that functionality, I'm not involved in the coding.
 
Just a question, is there any chance that we could buy some shirt designs as posters?
I'd really want Daisies, City Lights, and Smoke Break as posters but not so much as t-shirts.
In-fact, a lot of shirt designs seem more suited to be posters rather than t-shirts~

I would really like to see some t shirts with more subtle graphics. Something like the zangief t shirt you guys have, or a shirt that looks cool without the viewer having to get the reference.

YES! I want to get a Squigly shirt soooooo badly and I've seen a lot of nice designs for shirts, but they're not subtle. I want something that looks cool and would look cool for other people to see and not ask "What's on your shirt?" or give you stupid looks (I get enough of this when I wear my Catbug shirt)

Low. People have said on numerous occasions they would like a poster of X but the few times it was done, sales didn't match interest expressed. It's ultimately not up to me and this may change in the future.

Two factors in play:
1. The artists who may be best for this either have no interest in the game, never responded to me, ask for more than our budget could handle or otherwise haven't received something like this. If you know someone who may be able to do a nice looking, subtle design, I'm all ears. It's not that I'm/we're not interested and won't ever consider it.
2. The people who demand more subtle/low-key designs are less likely to buy anything in the first place. There was someone who wanted a subtle Marie design, then they complained that the price was too high. (It was also one of the worst performing designs, I had started planning out similar designs for the rest of the cast but it had to get shelved since this was to get a rough idea of an interest check for stuff like this) We're still going to try and do some subtle stuff periodically but not as many as I would prefer. But it ultimately comes down to what actually sells. Maybe we're not famous/known enough? Maybe the SG community at large wants bigger, more illustrative designs? It's hard to say.

Aww man, Big Band's theme is amazing DX Well, it's a good thing I have to PC version and can listen to it there XD
 
You can also open up the files and just take the HD theme from the game if it's missing it and you feel cheated.
AFTER you buy the soundtrack of course.

I didn't know we were limited to inquiring about just such products. There are other links in the merchandise. Anyway, aside from the plush and figureines, I was mostly kidding around.

There are so many references to classic fighting games in Skullgirls, it's a shame none of the current posters or shirts cash in on that.

Like Big Band as himself, Squigs and Eliza on vocals, Beowulf on guitar or bass, he seems like a bass kinda guy to me, maybe Ms. Fortune on guitar? I dunno, it sounded like a cool idea in my head. Cerebella on drums.

Yes, but the process is different. With the much bigger commitment per design we have to be a lot more selective and the art requirements are more specific.

We generally don't want to do parody shirts. Especially since a lot of those parodies would be for games we may be interested in getting the proper license for.

If we got good Skullgirls action figures (eg: Revoltechs, Figmas etc) I would be over the moon. Seriously, there is such a huge gap in the market it isn't even funny.

I noticed that the Skullgirls Phone Cases now come in the iPhone 6 size, but there are no images for it.

It's the same artwork but fitted for the phone. Not sure if we really needed to take photos of every single model and combination.

I think you are underestimating how much those cost to develop and manufacture, especially as a 3rd party company.
