Discussion about Filia's weight

Trying to understand why people consider Filia to be pudgy.

I always thought that was meant as a joke, not what they actually call her.

Anyway what's the disscusion about? I mean it's just a disscusion of Fillias weight. Is the weight of a fictional character really discussion worthy outside of jokes?

Fun Fact: Filia is actually me

I appeared in a dream Ahad had one night and he based her off of me, so she would be around 216 pounds

Where did you get your inception machine?
 
The only good thing about Filia's "pudginess" is her thighs so I don't see that as an issue

It depends on how people view certain characters. I think she's chubbier than other character but that's me.

Being chubby isn't bad you know.
 
well given that Filia is 16 years old and around 5 foot 4 [pretty dang short] and the national weight index for females at that height and age has 150 pounds at the cusp of being slightly overweight.

now in the official wiki Filia is listed to be 142lbs. Now given that Samson aids Filia in most of her moves it can be easily said that Filia doesn't have an amazing muscle/fat ratio. [Like she doesn't work out all the time like Cerebella or Parasoul does.] Since the average fat percentage in a female is around 20% we can say that Filia being the average girl that she is... would be around 22% body fat.

This means that Filia is still healthy, sure a little extra body fat, but it's in the places that count and not say... the belly. Surprisingly enough the other girls are much much more in shape despite their height and age. [Especially Fortune jesus! That kitty does need a freaking hamburger!]

How does the Filia/Samson parasite thing work anyways? Does he have his own digestive system or does he get all his nutrients straight from Filia if that was the case wouldn't she be more skinnier?

Either this is handwaved explained with lolMagic or Filias/Samsons anatomy is something lovecraftian in the vein of John Carpenters The Thing.
 
Late to the discussion but I always wondered why people considered Filia pudgy or fat as well. The only thing big about her are her thighs and hands, her belly isn't plump and her butt isn't big. Perhaps people assume that because she enjoys eating? But so does Squigly according to most of her likes: Noodles, Cream soda, Cake, Burgers but Squigly's diet seems to go toward her backside while Filia's went to her thighs.

Filia has a pretty slim abdominal area from what I see in her model sheet and some instances where you can see her belly in game.

Alex said she isn't slim but she isn't too fat however I see her as being on the verge of having an hourglass figure but that's just me. Her weighing the most of the original cast is most likely something we can blame on Samson.
