On April 19th, warriors gathered to try their might against the King of Skullgirls, Duckator. He has crushed all those who came before him in the last kumite and was crowned champion at the previous two EVO Skullgirls tournaments, a feat truly deserving of the title "King".

The bouts from last night's event are sets of first to 7, containing magnificent displays of Skullgirls play, ranging from one sided domination to some toe to toe nail biters, every team size and every character.

I remember the part where I was one of the biggest stream monsters next to ShadeMoneh and Blaisey_Snugs (was my first time too, plus I clicked that stupid link, so... yeah).
Plus MMDS managed to beat Duckator, so yeah...This gives me some hope fo eating Duckator myself! Kappa
Ahh...Good Times.
 
I have to admit, this was really fun. Got the blood pumping and everything. We should do more of these sometime.

Actually, on second though I should actually be doing this for the lesser known players? People on Twitter were complaining about how we keep seeing the same people in events like this so....

I mean, you do post the thread and ask everyone to sign up if they're available. If people can't make it or don't have the confidence, you can't do anything about it.

The threads even have people mentioning others to see if they want in so I don't see how you can get more lesser knowns to participate.

The thread says netplay leaders. You could look for high ranking players (not necessarily top) who play unorthodox teams, or who have a really weird unique style to spice things up.

You called? No one has seen me fight before except for BronzeXypher. And since I really don''t have a Steam, maybe @SHODAN would want to try it.

Things were a bit different with Duckator's event. I really wanted the best of the best that I could acquire (I thought Budubs and Uzumakihero were valid choices out of who all was available). For the other events it was more of, "I don't want to see anyone getting 7 - 0'd with little effort."

I think I know how to get othe people to stream for the ps3 for events like this, but we'll have to wait for the lobbies to come. Wen they do, we could invite people we know who can stream and have them stream the fights for us.
 
I kinda want to see Duck go up against DSP, but that'd be an insult to Duck.
