Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) 2015 Thread

Jutsei

Unwavering Hype
Kinda early to be making a thread for E3, but given that there's already a bit of info of what to expect there, I thought I might as well make the thread for everyone's favorite annual explosion of information regarding new or upcoming video games, especially since I made the one for last year (did I do the one for 2013 too? I can't remember)

So talk about any games revealed, expected to be reveled, or anything else shown at E3 this year whenever it comes up.
(Nintendo Direct might get it's own thread if that's a thing too)
Technically, E3 starts on June 16th, and lasts through June 18th, but as is the norm, usually we get some conferences and info before that day technically starts.

Anyway, so far, what we know about E3 is mostly the conferences and their times! (From Wikipedia)

Bethesda will have it's own conference for the first time on June 14th, at 7 PM PDT (10 PM EST), and Wikipedia states that "On April 2015, Bethesda released invitations which contain references of Doom, The Elder Scrolls, Wolfenstein as well as Dishonored and The Evil Within" There's also the ever popular rumor that Fallout 4 will be shown there, who knows?

Microsoft then starts June 15th with their conference at 9:30 PDT (12:30PM EST)

After that, EA has their standard conference on June 15th, at 1 PM PDT (4 PM EST), and it's going to be an hour long, who knows what kind of beasts EA will unleash on us. hopefully something good. (But probably Star Wars Battlefront)

Then, on the same day (June 15th), Ubisoft will be showing a conference of their own, starting at 3 PM PDT (6 PM, est)

Then finally, June 15th's flood of info ends with Sony's conference at 6 PM PDT (9:00 EST), this is usually when most of the big bombs aside from Nintendo drop, so don't miss that!

Then on June 16th (When E3 technically begins), Nintendo's Digital Event will happen at 9 AM PDT (Noon EST)

There will be a conference for Square Enix, at 10 AM PDT (1:00 PM EST), what's there is anyone's guess, but Squeenix has confirmed that will be nothing about Final Fantasy XV due to lack of time, no boy bands at E3 this year, it seems

Finally, on the same day, at 5:00 PDT (8 PM EST), there will be a PC Gaming centric conference, which is another first, what's there is anyone's guess, but companies including Blizzard Entertainment, Bohemia Interactive, Paradox Interactive, Obsidian Entertainment, as well as Tripwire Interactive, Square Enix, Cloud Imperium Games and Devolver Digital will be there.

So , basically, here's a TL;DR schedule under spoilers!
Sunday, June 14th
Bethesda Conference - 7 PM PDT (10 PM EST)

Monday, June 15th
Microsoft Conference - 9:30 AM PDT (12:30PM EST)
EA Conference - 1 PM PDT (4:00PM EST)
Ubisoft Conference - 3 PM PDT (6:00 PM EST)
Sony Conference - 6 PM PDT (9:00PM EST)

Tuesday, June 16th
Nintendo Digital Event - 9 AM PTT (12:00PM EST)
Square Enix Conference - 10 AM PDT (1:00 PM EST)
PC Gaming Show - 5 PM PDT (8:00 EST)

So, infodump aside, E3! Talk about Hype before, during, or after it, and have fun!

E3? more like zzz...

huh? oh sorry nothing really seems to really poke out at the second that seems intresting. well maybe for Nintendo's little preview of Little' Mac getting ready for the show. but other than that, nah EA can bite it and Square is just doing a other FF that will be on pair with FF13.2

Yeah, I'm really concerned about the whole two and a half hours of EA.
There's very low chances of it being something worthwhile.
I literally cannot trust EA anymore after they killed Dawngate.

Though bet you anything they'll be like "HEY MIRROR'S EDGE 2 GUYS REMEMBER THAT"

"HEY MIRROR'S EDGE 2 GUYS REMEMBER THAT"

Lol.... Mirror's Edge 2. Just like another sequel that's part of EA's hell anus. You may of heard of it, Beyond Good and Evil 2. there were a couple of screen shots and a CG intro shown once upon a time ago in a E3 in like 2007 or something.

"Hell Anus" is like the best made-up word I've heard in 2015. Holy shit

But yeah, probably. Beyond Good and Evil 2 isn't ever coming out either.
That also might be shown but hah, what are the chances of that.

Mhhh... what a beautiful world where the word Hell Anus can describe a Triple A game company so perfectly.

But yeah Nintendo is going to kill it if they show off Star Fox and F-Zero, and a new Ip that feels like it's part of the Nintendo Family. (Sorta like Splatoon, kinda... but something that has a true childlike wonderment to itself. IDK.)

It depends on how big Nintendo's plans are, if it's another huge thing like last year It might go to the ole' Nintendo Direct thread, but, we'll see.
I really do hope we get a Punch-Out 2 though, but what will it be about?
Mac's retired.
And I hope to God we don't go to that Blonde Haired Gremlin in Super Punch-Out

Little Mac never retires he's just like Rocky. Every time he tries to get out of the boxing gig to spend time with Samus Aran, Doc Louis bursts in with a chocolate bar stuffed in his mouth shouting that Mac has to get back into the ring cause there is a new world circit where all of Mac's rivals will be.

But all joking aside we need that Star Fox and F-Zero we need that juice in Nintendo's veins to make it get back on top.

Nintendo has caught my interest the most. I want to see what FF XV will be like and I am not sure if EA will wow me.

Beyond Good and Evil is ubisoft.

Expecting 90% of whats shown to be released in end of 2016 or later.
Capcom has SFV stuff and will still looks slow and bad. Probably Deep Down or whatever game is called news too. Monster Hunter stuff.
Sega needs to tell me when Yakuza 5 is releasing.
MS going to announce Gears Collection officially. Hoping for Scalebound news.
Sony going to win because of actually having diversity on display.
EA will suck and will be shooters.
Ubi will suck and be AssCreed and shooters.
Open world open world open world open world.

Expectations are in the basement this year. I just want less cgi teasers of not real game footage and to see game coming out within a year not 2 years away.

eh what ever Beyond good and evil is still development hell so it's right next door to EA. it's on the "outer rim". And personally my excitement for SFV died the second they gave Nash a teleport. way to kill all the fun by giving an all ready strong character that had good mixup game and slap a teleport onto his face to make it feel "cool and new".

Hoping it'll be good, even if it's not a bunch of good things I still love when E3 rolls around because I get to scream and freak out about things with my buddies and that's often a highlight of my year.

I'm just curious what kinda Xbone/PS4 games they'll belt out, honestly.
I think now's the time for them to really start churning out them games.

Though, there's only ONE thing I absolutely don't want to hear at this E3, or any E3 until 2017.
News on the NEXT Nintendo Console, handheld or not.
Give Wii U/3DS a few more years please. D:

The New 3DS just came out, pretty sure the earliest bit of news for any new Nintendo platform won't but until next E3.

I really hope so, Wii U could at least use one more year before I feel like I didn't spend $300 in vein.

If we get a new punch-out and it's not Women's Boxing I'm gonna get it but I'm gonna be very disappointed that this new Punch-Out isn't Women's Boxing

I wanna see Mirror's Edge 2, Doom, whatever Nintendo's offering, and hopefully something that makes me want to buy Battlefront 3 instead of just continuing to play 2, which is very much alive on PC.

And Cyperpunk 2077. It might be too soon after Witcher for CDprojekt to push a new game, but I want to see something.

On the indie side, I want to know when Below is coming out. Gimme your video game Capy! I love you guys!

Oh yeah, maybe it's finally time we see that Doom trailer only some people saw at Doomcon?

They already confirmed that the NX won't be at this years' E3

Oh thank God.
Phew, ok, E3 saved.

On the Nintendo Front though, I totally wanna see Starfox, F-Zero maybe.

On unrelated front, maybe a new Platinum game besides Scalebound?

Wasn't it gameplay that they showed? I heard it was a lot like classic Doom. Lots of strafing, no reloading, and health packs.

I hope they at least have women boxers period. Because I recall they were legit considering Peach as the actual secret boxer before Donkey Kong.

I don't know, throw Samus in there or something, she's always mocking him in Smash Bros. Not even ZSS, just regular Samus. Special mode is Justin Bailey Samus and you can't regenerate health between knockdowns because a Metroid keeps screwing around with you.

Sega needs to tell me when Yakuza 5 is releasing.
Unless the situation has changed, I think it's been confirmed that Sega will not be at E3 this year. Something about "restructuring " or whatever...blah blah blah...basically they're just ducking out from having to apologize to a huge crowd for everything that went wrong with Sonic Boom.

They showed it, yes, but there's no footage of it because of an extreme NDA.
It's never been shown anywhere else, just stories about it.

I honestly just want Samus there, in her armor, with a boxing glove over her cannon
that would be cute af

Man I hope they show that gameplay at E3 this year. It's the only game I'm looking forward to.

I'm hoping too, the fact Bethesda talked about it and Wolfenstein gives me high hopes.
But then again, they JUST finished The Old Blood, there's no way they're already hopping to a sequel.

I really want Paper Mario Wii U to be a thing, but Miyamoto needs to be far away from it.

But yeah, I think a Wolfenstein sequel might happen, just needs time.
