Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) 2015 Thread

So, I just got online after missing everything. I saw the Nintendo game list up the page and everyone is unhappy with the conference and specifically Metroid. I am so afraid because a new Metroid should be the best thing ever. What happened with everything that people are so unhappy, and specifically Metroid?

It's a side game that has you playing as the Federation and it just doesn't look very good. Blast Ball is part of it, so it's those visuals.

A few things.
First of all, the trailer showed off the game in a way that was very anti-excitement, if that makes sense. Second, I don't think we even get to see Samus, or did I miss her in the trailer? It was all just normal soldiers. It seems to focus on the Federation.
Third, it seems to be on 3DS and looks kind of ugly.
I'm still excited for it, but that seems to be why people dislike it.
Also, this Square Enix presentation for Just Cause is really, really boring.

You know, I really have to say, though. Nintendo was very humble the entire way through. They didn't really stroke their dicks about anything. Didn't overstate the amazingness of their tech. And the video at the end really showed how they had the awareness of how much the fans are what make a franchise. It felt like a very genuine appreciation for the people that play and enjoy their games.

This picture sums up my thoughts on the one game that got me hyped.

While Sony did the exact fuckin opposite.

To be fair they kinda had a right to considering the annoucements they made but hey.

that's mainly why I said they had a solid presentation.

Yeah, chances for Starfox are good.
Nothing new got me excited, though. The best stuff for me was the Star Fox stuff and the English FE trailer.

Nier is game where you play as a buff neglectful dad that kills a lot of things and doesn't feel sorry for it while a book tells him that he's an asshole
it's literally one of the best video game stories of all time and has one of the most amazing scores in video game history

I just hope we get more of Liam O'Brien as a book.

It's going to be hard feeling remorse for our actions though when we're kicking ass Platinum style.
