Welp, it's that time of year again (Or at least, a month before it), E3 fast approaches, and we'll soon be showered with tons of game info and news, hopefully some good news rather than bad news
As for the past 2-4 years, I've taken it upon myself to make a thread to quarantine the hype so it doesn't derail other threads (Lookin' at you, Gaming General Discussion)
This year, like last, E3 starts a bit earlier than usual, with press conferences that have the lion's share of info coming out before E3 actually starts (Which is, for the first time in many years, open to the public!)
Here's the schedule for conferences, keep in mind, we're still getting times for others, so this may be updated
(Keep in mind, all times are presumably Pacific Standard Time, since that's where E3 is held)
EA is once more eschewing going to E3 in favor of "EA Play" which is their own little E3, this is the first conference, so we'll at least get all those Sports out of the Way
It have a Press Conference, which will start on June 10 at 12:00pm (3:00 PM EST)
Microsoft has decided to move their conference up a day early, in order to "Be the first E3 Conference", and to move itself away from Sony's usually much better conferences, expect Project Scorpio
It will start on June 11 at 2:00pm PST (5:00 PM EST)
Bethesda, once more, has their own conference, hopefully we'll get DOOM 2 or Wolfenstein 2
It will start on June 11 at 7:00pm PST (10:00 PM EST)
After that is the PC Gaming Show, which is mostly PC Exclusive games, in the past they haven't been too hot, and Blizzard isn't gonna be there, so don't get your hopes up
It will start on June 12 at 10:00am PST (1:00 PM EST)
Ubisoft once more has their own conference, hopefully we'll get a new Asscreed or Far Cry game there, or maybe some more For Honor DLC
It will start on June 12th at 1:00 PM PST (4:00 PM EST)
Then comes the Sony press conference, which always has a ton of giant announcements and has consistently been the winner of E3 every year, keep your eyes open for really cool shit
It will start on June 12 at 6:00pm PST (9:00 PM EST)
Lastly, of course, Nintendo doesn't have a traditional E3 Conference, it will instead have a "Nintendo Spotlight" and showcase many new games, they also have an ARMS and Splatoon Tournament planned
It will start on June 13 at 9:00am PST ( 12:00 PM EST)
That's all the conferences currently planned, only one is missing, which is Squeenix, and other companies may step up and get their own conference)
So, let the traditional E3 Hype thread begin, talk about games you want to see, games you don't wanna see, what you think each conference will have, and your faint fever dreams that may never come true!
