Yup, jumping the gun again, 'cuz one of my favorite times of year is coming up within less than a month.
E3 will be here with us as early as June 9, giving us peeks into upcoming games we know about, revealing brand new ones we (hopefully) didn't know about, and overall just being a fun activity to do with your friends (Who doesn't love having a good snark fest with your friends at EA's expense?)
Like previous years, E3 is starting a bit earlier than the scheduled date, with conferences starting outside of E3, ones separate from E3, and just before E3 is open to the public at large.
These press conferences are where most of the big information will be revealed, of course.
As before, here are all the scheduled times (So far, will be updated as time goes on)
Remember, most times listed are Pacific Standard Time, and I will list the appropriate matching Eastern Standard Time to go with it!
(Though, if you don't wanna read a lot, here's a picture to help!)
EA is, for some reason, once more not going to E3, instead opting to do another "EA play event"
The Press Conference will begin on June 9th, 11:00am PDT (2:00pm EST)
Microsoft comes soon after, they are still going to E3, but their big conference will be held at a "Microsoft Theater", and Phil Spencer promised a postive change, and "fun things for everyone", let's hope
The Press Conference will begin on June 10th, 1:00pm PDT (4:00pm EST)
Bethesda begins on the same day, promising their longest conference yet, and teasing new games as early as May 14th. Hoping that we'll get DOOM 2 there!
The Press Conference begins June 10th, 6:30pm PDT (9:30pm EST)
Devolver Digital gets another conference this year after their parodic, Eric Andre-like conference last year. It'll prob be quite funny and maybe have some decent game reveals.
The "Press Conference" Begins June 10th, 8pm PDT (11:00pm EST)
Square Enix begins the next day after, and hopefully this is where we'll get some long over do Final Fantasy or Kingdom Hearts information
The Press Conference begins June 11th, 10:00am PDT (1:00pm EST)
Ubisoft picks up not too long after, and usually this is one I look forward to, hoping we'll get Watch_Dogs 3 there or something
The Press Conference begins June 11th, 1:00pm PDT (4:00pm EST)
The PC Gaming Show will come as well, this historically has not been as big of a conference/reveal fest as the other conferences, so keep your expectations low
The Press Conference begins June 11th, 3:00pm PDT (6:00pm EST)
Sony finally closes out the day with their historically door busting conferences, Showing off "Deep dives" of Spider-Man, TLOU Part 2, Ghost of Tsushima, and Days Gone, while still showing new games here and there
The Press Conference begins June 11th, 6:00pm PDT (9 PM EST)
Nintendo ends the conferences with their Nintendo Direct, focusing on Switch games releasing in 2018, with a specific focus on Super Smash Bros (for Switch)
The Nintendo Direct begins June 12th, 9:00am (12pm EST)
Should any other conferneces get announced, they'll be added, but I believe this is all of 'em.
So, there ya go, let the annual E3 hype thread begin. Talk about what you hope to see there, what you don't hope to see, what you think each conference will have, make predictions, and your crazy hopes that could maybe come true this year!
