Okay guys, if you want to discuss EVO as a whole not regarding SG. Such as main games or anything like that talk her, if you are talking specifically about the SG side tournament. Post in the thread Render linked above.

Well okay, who wants to play USF4 casuals with me? I'm not entering anything but SG this year but I'd love to get in some sets on some other games over the weekend.

Now that I'm going I'm always up for AE even though I hate it
Unfortunately I won't be able to bring a setup with me because I'm flying and I've heard availability of setups is pretty limited

Man, it's gonna be real weird not calling it AE anymore.

I know several pretty good SF players that will be at Evo either way so even if I'm not competition for you I can probably introduce you to someone who is

I'm just going to be rocking my month 1 Poison anyway so I'll play against whoever and probably lose against most.

It saddens me people need to be encouraged to not show up to events dripping with filth.
 
"Reeks of nerd" is a con-related catchphrase we developed around here.
 
if you wait 5 years and then show up to something for once you'll still get bodied

Yea getting bodied... lol ow my pride but meeting everyone from the Duck to MikeZ! Priceless! Ha! But how long are the tourneys usually? The whole time EVO runs or not quite?

Last year, pools were Friday afternoon, top 32 was around noon Saturday, top 8 was Saturday night.

It might be a bit different this year since we're not getting Evo stream time.

So I'm in a small crisis if any one reads this. I have just barely enough for a ticket to evo, about 50-80 short have to pay some end of summer school fees ( i dont live in the usa so plane tickets are more expensive) but that's not counting tournament fees, other travel fees like taxis and the hotel fee. I'm kinda disappointed after trying to save while in college and being so close but coming short.

I have like less than 3 weeks and I'm not sure if i should try to get more funds in time or just accept facts and just keep my savings and prepare for next year. I'm not too confident of my skill level either.

Oh well

Think Skullgirls will have another year ahead of it after all the indie gogo characters are done?
 
SG isn't going anywhere any time soon, and I'm certain people will be playing SG at EVO 2015.

Counting all of the necessary expenses, how much are you short?
 
A the best case I am $62 short for my flight, and i don't have any for tournament fees which would be 10 for skullgirls and 20 for the Evo pass and none for a hotel room.
