I haven't looked up hotel rooms for UFGT yet, I actually have to get on registering, but I'm busy this week with school, so I'm going to check that out next week.
 
I'm looking to share a 2 bedroom with 4-5 other people for Evo. I'll likely be flying in Thursday and leaving Monday.

I booked a room for UFGT, I still need to talk to @Shnarfl and @RetroStation to see what's happening, but I didn't try to book a salty suite for UFGT because I wanted to guaranteed a room with the discount.

is there a deadline for the EVO discount? Plus, I was hoping to hitch a ride with someone nearby as i dont own a car, but i dont really know anybody who is going to EVO in the Santa Clarita or San Fernando Valley areas.

I'm planning on moving to the region soonish.
 
Mixed news everyone, a bunch of people from the previous salty suite may not be able to attend, which while sadden, means there's room for new people. I'm gonna reserve two connected rooms with 4 people each. One room is supposed to cost around 300 from Thursday to Monday (that's.... actually pretty cheap) so let's hear some interest.

On a sidenote, if you are having trouble finding inexpensive flights, try looking at the Southwest airlines site. I saw non-stop reasonable flights for about 360 round trip from Baltimore, which seems cheapish.

Hey just so I have all my bases covered in case my current hotel plans fall through, how much will it cost a dude to buy in on the Evo salty suite?
 
I know there's no real concrete info for the SG side-tourney (the only thing I want to compete in), but what's the best day to fly in for maximum fun/casuals, thursday or friday?
 
I am willing to let 1 (up to 2) people stay with me and @Inferno in our apartment during evo (if he is alright with that). Mostly for people who might feel a hotel might be too expensive.

Hell no, no one can stay with us. Nah I'm just kidding.

I will say we can have up to 3 people stay at our place (that's how much room there is in one car) two people can sleep in the living room and one in the big closet

Alright! Salty Suite reservations made for the Las Vegas Hotel!!!! Total cost for each room from Thursday to Monday morning is $344.95 (Thank you based-EVO for waiving annoying $18 resort fee per day). So far, a friend of mine and @Pikmario have shown interests in a spot. @POS Industries you are more than welcome to talk me to sleep with your beautiful voice. I have two rooms, so let's see some hands.

Check-in is at 3 with the option for the hotel to hold on to bags in case you get there early. Check out is at noon.

Looks like my room plans are remaining concrete after all, so I'll have to decline the offer for now but I appreciate you getting back to me.

NOW, as for UFGT rooming options, I am definitely needing to room with some folks on that.

Me! Pick me! I still haven't finished booking flights and figuring out what I'll do on the Wednesday night, but I'll try and sort that out today.

Groovy. Just to keep in mind, the reservations are from July 10 (Thursday) to July 14 (Monday).
And you mean the days after? That's smart, I might do that to recover.
 
I meant the days before; July 8th and 9th. Last year, by the time I was used to the 8 hour time difference Evo was over ;_;
